Gec bullnose

I passed on the burlap and ordered a denim.. And it could be the lighting there at GEC.. John

My OD green linen micarta arrived today. I can already tell that this will be getting a lot of pocket time. It is the perfect size for my hands. Everything about this knife is just on the money.

I've read that the acryllics are thinner than the delrin handled ones, does anyone know if they are also thinner than micarta? Is there a comparison shot from the last run?
Acrylics are thin. Delrin is thicker. Micarta is at least as thick as the Delrin if not thicker still.

Mine got here today..this things got some pull weight :o

That is the first thing I noticed too when mine came in. It seems to be getting easier with everyday use, though I could simply just be getting more used to it.

My natural canvas arrived today! Excellent fit and finish. It's beautiful. The pull is a bit stout however, I bet it will loosen up. I had never held a #71, it's a bit larger (length/width) than I imagined. However, for it's size it is very light. The blade was sharp and easily passed the paper cutting test. :)

Thanks Mike and GEC!

Pics or it didn't happen!

I need them since mine just now made it to the post office, getting the burlap delayed mine a bit but it will be worth it.

I picked up the green linen a few days ago. First 71 and holy cow is it nice! The micarta is definitely much thicker than I thought it would be. But it is stunning in its simplicity and a nice change of pace to pick something up that was less than $95...

My Red arrived today, I like it a lot. It was a toss up between it and the Burgandy. Very happy with the Red:cool::thumbup:

I did notice that my Micarta from past runs was a little bit more radiused. My red is a bit blockier for lack of a better term. Not an issue just an observation:thumbup:

tmd_87 and Paul - Looking good on both counts! [emoji106]
Thanks! It definitely is seems to be a much more expensive knife. Flush at half stop. Fit and finish is fantastic.
