GEC Cuban Cigar Patterns #53 & #54

Thanks John, and redsparrow!

I can understand why you like the single-blade 54, redsparrow. It's a perfect back pocket knife.
That's where the TK rides every time I carry it.

Congratulations Jeff!!! What a beautiful group of fantastic knives. Wow!! How long have you been working on those?

Red, I got my first Cuban in 2008. The first and fourth knives, the green and blue stag bones, they only made 9 each.

Wow that is impressive Jeff!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: The Green and Blue are so incredibly striking. I'm delighted for you buddy... and thank Perry for helping you out. Ten years!!! Quite an achievement Sir!!!

I have another #53 Cuban Stockman incoming, this one in carbon and snakewood. o_O

I bid on it not expecting to win, expecting it to blow up way past my price, but I actually got it for less than my highest bid.

It's a 2007, no model number stamp. New in Tube. Can't wait.

Logan, most of the snakewood back then was very nicely figured, should be a winner!

I'm not the biggest fan of snakewood, definitely prefer ebony, ironwood, and cocobolo, but as it goes this seems pretty nicely figured.

It is pretty much perfectly built. The blades sit better to my eyes even than my stag stainless one (which is great) with the tips deeper and the nail nicks more exposed. Might just be my eyes or excitement over a new knife, IDK. The main blade might be a little bent, but it sits centered just as it should. The fit of the covers is near perfect, slight exposure of the liners on the pile side near the center of the spring. No gaps. Great action probably a 7 on the main and 6s on the secondaries.

I'm not sure what I'll do with this knife. I plan to use the stag stainless as a carry and user.

Logan that's a beautiful 53 stockman young man! Bring it to the Rendezvous and let me smoke it over good! :)

A few more Cuban Honeys to share. These are quick and dirty pics taken in fading light with my phone. Some of you folks take great pics. Me, not so much. Pictured are two burnt stags, canvas micarta, carved stag bone, and brimstone bone.
