GEC Huckleberry Boy's Knife

Interesting that GEC stuck with pen in front for this run of boys knives too. I actually prefer that even though it did make the main a little more difficult to access on the spear version.

All these Boy's knives and TC Barlows are killing me! I feel compelled to own at least one of each.

Burnside; looks like your two blade ebony spear is a reality! Thanks Charlie!!!

I just got the word that there will be a few Boy's Knife's made in Antique Amber (or maybe Antique Yellow) in the usual blade configurations. :D:D:D They are also making some more in red bone; these won't be around long so be on the watch for 'em on dealer shelves in a couple days.

I am going to have to have at least one cocobolo boys knife. Probably both the single and two blade version. The cocobolo they are showing in the pictures is magnificent with beatiful figuring. Resistance is futile...

I need to go into fortune telling. But this one was easy; so, maybe not. Just pulled these two out of the mailbox from Knifeswapper.

Great looking cocobolo on these two. I'm liking that clip blade better in person than I thought I would. I'm afraid GEC is going to make a fan out of me, yet.

Wow that Cocobolo looks fantastic on this pattern!

Yep, sucked me right in.

Got a spear and pen in ebony wood on the way. The pattern and blade style/scales I've been wanting so desperately is finally on the way. I'm already feeling a lttle guilty since I so recently bought the same thing with the clip blade and no bolster on the cap end (and it's been a great knife so far), but I wanted that spear blade and would've felt worse if I let the chance pass me by. The only way I'd feel even better about the purchase is if it had a shield and be barehead (well, maybe, I do love the cap end bolster look almost as much), but that would be really nitpicking:D

After having a red jigged bone, single blade, barehead, spear blade for a couple days, I have had a small epiphany - I like how easy it is to pinch open.

Yeah, I'm already looking at the one I ordered (my dealer shows a bunch of picts from different angles) and wondering how difficult that pen blade is going to make the opening of the spear main. On a knife that's used often that could be annoying, even with the push the pen blade down trick. Won't know til it's here I guess, at least my clip blade version opens easy. And the sodbuster on the way with it will lessen the potential blow:)

Here is a smooth bone Boy's Knife. I was afraid the bone might be some sort of too white uniform color. It wasn't. Hope the pictures show the subtle hughs hews :D hues in the bone color.

Rob, that's a great looking knife and the hews came out nicely.

I received my smooth bone single clip today and I'm just captivated by it. Not just the hues but the slimness of it. It's elegant and sublime. This is my fourth boys knife and I think I like it the best.

Sublime indeed, as seen in Thomason's pictures above.

Now I want a knife with Hugh's hews huge Hugh's hewn hues like that.

Whew, Hugh.

Just got my ebony today it road along side my bullet end for some basic cuttin. I really like the main spear.

A couple of pics of the 15 in Ebony with a 85 in Cocobolo and a 25 Barlow in bocote. I am really digging these wood covers.
