GEC IS MAKING TRAPPER KNIVES IN 2020.

I'm going to go against the crowd. I came back around to traditionals because they generally have more than one blade and I don't need a lock. Were I looking to buy a single-blade locking folder, there are some really good knives out there in the modern world. Better steel, better locks, better materials, better construction, lighter weight, etc. If it's to be a Trapper, I prefer the traditional two-blade slipjoint design.

I would love to see a liner-lock in stag. #73’s and stag are a perfect pairing.

so you are saying that 2 days after I ordered a Case 2 blade Folding Hunter GEC has announced they are making a 2 blade Folding Hunter!

Sorta. Folding hunters are generally 3/4" to 1" longer than the 23, and they don't have the spey blade, rather a drop point ... I need a sheath for a folding hunter. The 23 ... almost. :)

P.S. locking knives usually have lighter snap!!

Excited about this! Love BIG traditionals...Scored a couple S&M Mountain Men this week

Just got a sneak peak of the Oregon Collectors knife... It's a 23 with 2 blades... Pretty big boy......

I'm surprised they were showing it off... Bill specifically told me not to let it out that it was 23s, but I guess that was a few weeks ago.

I sure wish it was a single blade!

The Allegheny Mountain Knife Collectors Association club knife will likely be a 23 from this run also.

I’m also hoping for a single blade or the trapper jack with the smaller pen blade, I personally don’t have much need for the large spey blade...not that it would stop me from grabbing one when offered.
