No, my new 43 in Jigged Cherry Wood has developed a slight flat spot on the blade where it's apparently hitting the spring. I designated it a user right out of the tube, so I oiled it, opened and closed it a bunch of times, and allowed it to snap closed quite a few times. After I read the comments above, I saw the flat spot.Frontier Bone ?
Well my second beaver tail arrived and it has not disappointed. Another first class example I couldn’t of hand picked one better and that goes for my last 3

Great walk and talk dead nuts blade centering . Somebody pinch me I think I must be dreaming after such a rocky start im kind of in disbelief lol.
My only dilemma was I planned on selling my least favorite and I want to keep them all !! Now I can only hope my Micarta that’s on the way is as nice as these 3

That’s a bummer ! My first cherry has been a user also although carried everyday since getting it . It’s only seen light kitchen and envelope duty . But a heavy couch fondler user lol . I agree what a great pattern and mainly got it because I liked the looks and the Oregon theme being a Oregonian I had to have one . But now that I’ve got them in hand I like it even more![]()

LOL I had to take a closer look because I thought the little Beaver was having lunch lol .They should have put the beaver's mouth right in one of the jigged "troughs" to look like HE was just munching away and doing the jigging!![]()
