Me too. I wonder how much the green will brighten up once everything is said and done.I’m liking that jig pattern !!!
Hard to say but I like the dark rustic look myself but the brass caps look sweet .Me too. I wonder how much the green will brighten up once everything is said and done.
That they do. I didn't even notice they were brass till you said something. I think I will go a head and put one on reserve. And now reserved.Hard to say but I like the dark rustic look myself but the brass caps look sweet .
I definitely want one but I think I’m gonna wait till they hit the market and land oneThat they do. I didn't even notice they were brass till you said something. I think I will go a head and put one on reserve. And now reserved.
It might be a sin, but could someone post a pic of a 43 next to a Buck 110 for size comparison?
The green 43 looks like "cougar claw" jigging maybe?
Nice! Just what I was wondering. How is the snap for you?I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this pattern. I thought it was going to be a bit too large, but I'm glad I decided to try it out, because the size is more reasonable than I expected. It fits my hand just about right when open.

The factory edge on mine was ok, not great. I went ahead and sharpened it the way I like it (which I do with most new knives, anyways, unless the factory edge is really good.) This one has no blade rap, though, so that's good.
Here's it is next to a #74 Stallion. Obviously the #43 is a bit larger, but not by much.

I think this will turn out to be a much more pocketable knife than I expected it to be. Now I'm just trying to decide between a red lanyard or an OD green lanyard. Which do you all think?

Thanks, I need to get the prints out of the brass from the previous owner. Thanks Mitt.
Beautiful 110 in red.
The 43 looks really neat! Maybe for carry in a belt sheath like a 110.
Nice! Just what I was wondering. How is the snap for you?
And, Green.
Its a bulls head with NACB between the hornsWhat is NACB shield?
First batch of Frontier were light action; then it seemed improved on the rest of Frontier and Jigged Cherry and first of Natural Canvas; then seemed light again on last of Canvas and first of Red Bone. I am a little disappointed on the consistency of this pattern so far. They just need a good flush and a little breaking in; but a stiffer spring is definitely desirable.
How did you do with the lotto? I got a stand by on this one. I guess reserving the green 43 helped my oddsI definitely want one but I think I’m gonna wait till they hit the market and land one
The reserves are fun but I seem to get them faster when I’m not reserving plus I might get a chance to be able to pick one out.
Mike,
Do you happen to know if the bolster on the green Northfield 43 is brass?
