I can't wait for these! Frontier bone is my favorite cover offering from GEC.
The 99 Wall Street was 3 3/4” (and I wish they’d do another run of those). Those came out toward the end of 2014 though. A fraction smaller than the 72 but significantly larger than the 83. The recent Mudbug SFO was bigger than both.
The beaver tail is a great looking knife. I'm just not sure about the jigged cherry wood. My frontier will be an edc and if I got the beaver tail it would end up being a display knife.View attachment 854837
I have been looking to add a Beaver shield for a long time. This could be the one. The 43 pattern really lends itself to the Beaver Tail series.
Lucky I’m still waiting on the post office. I’m supposed to get mine today but the US post isn’t very fast or reliable. The tracking on mine showed it left OKC on Friday at 8:30am and that didn’t change till noon today. I could have driven to there and back about 10times by now. It’s official my frontier Bone is waiting for me at home in the box
Seems like I’ve been waiting for ever since my preorder lol to no fault of my dealer I just preordered early . Also was shipped promptly once received from my dealer![]()
I hear ya the post office can be very good or not so very good lol . My fingers are crossed for you .Lucky I’m still waiting on the post office. I'm digging itView attachment 855505 View attachment 855506 Received my #43 frontier bone last night. Fit and finish is outstanding! Pull is about a 6 or 7 I think it would be a 10 on a small knife. I think the big blade gives you more leverage so it seems easier to open. Love the frontier bone and how both sides are different. Kinda makes my 78 feel like a peanutalso it’s pinchable
