GEC Radio Knife

I received my ebony covered knife today!

I am impressed with the sharpness and overall fit and finish of the knife.

This one is going straight into the pocket for sure.:thumbup:

 


:D Yup, they nailed the cap lifter on this thing! I love the nice dark Gaboon Ebony, and it's sharp enough to use right out of the tube :)

I love the radio knife and might get the Radio and Electricians at the same time. Woodrow, just saw you're from the Red Stick...I lived in Baton Rouge from 1984 to 2000 and hope to return one day. All the best

I've been here for about 7 years. South Louisiana has some of the best food. :) What made you move to AZ?
 
Just arrived in Saturdays mail...I really like this knife :thumbup: About the closet thing I've come across resembling the CASE XX, CASE USA and 1970's CASE red bone covers, job well done GEC ;)

That color being close to old Case red, and that jigged bone being close to Schrade peachseed, really is outstanding.

Well ya'll are talking about the cap opener...I had to wire a straight key ( for sending morse code) tonight and amazingly.. I was carrying my new radio knife...I used it to strip wires and then used the screwdriver to tighten the screws holding the wires secure. There was a little moment of heaven there.

Got my gabon ebony covered Radio Knife yesterday. The cap lifter on this knife works like gangbusters.

Got notification that my rust red Radio is in the mail! Can't believe I found one that was still available. This is very much a grail knife for me. So glad GEC made this one.
 
Good to hear it gets the caps off Ed.

It's a long thirst I'm building up over here in Europe......

Brian, the ebony Clip still reigns supreme. She may ride in the other pocket but she gets carried every day ;)

This thread made me curious about this knife. Always wanted a traditional, which is not a boy scout, with bottle opener. "Radio" etching is cool.

My Radio Knife with Gabon Ebony Handles arrived this morning! G.E.C. quality seems unmatched, except maybe for customs.

This is my first G.E.C. Been eyeing these knives for a while.

Of all the 15 pattern knives I own my ebony 2 blade like yours see the most action. It's a dandy.
