My knifemakers challenge knife at Ethans. (I think) I'm not sure if I'm happy with it or not. Something just doesn't sit well with me. Whadda you guys think?

Oh man that is awesome! I don't know what the hell you don't like about it :D. Really dig that wood (stabilised maple?) and whilst the green looks a little out of place it somehow makes the handle really pop...Just beautiful work...

We had fun meeting Les and enjoying his music this weekend. We had some interesting conversations. He is a great person and a true artist.

Holy crap! That is a fine looking knife.

You make a great point on the sheath. I've just started making my own sheaths the last couple of years so its still a learning process. Id love to pick your brain sometime. I love your work.

Anytime brother. If you don't like that one feel free to set it aside and make a matching M18 with my name on it.

awesome knives.

les stroud!

good stuff...

Stripped the Machax. This new coating peels off like a layer of latex. Nice!

Yeah yeah I still dont have a deck

Well...you shouldn't let that stop you. No matter what others say.
With a little bit of magic and a lot of hard work, you too can have a deck again!

Psy - you have a little baby sized deck on your chicken coop/man cave!

Just walked around the block a few times, with about 20-30lbs of encyclopedias in my Swedish military mountain pack. Going to try and do this every night, to be used to hiking a bit before we hit the river to river trail. Seems like the outside of my calves, and my hip joints hurt before anything else. I attribute it to sitting around on my ass too much.
