you sound like a homeo-wner.
I was stoked to get a 20ft extension ladder.

i spent more money on the extension cords than the stupid leafblower.

then i blew shit for 6 hours. more to go.

changing the motorcycle oil was relaxing by comparison.

maybe in six months of scrimping and new job, i can afford some toys.

You have plenty of tree pruners in your magic hoard chests......

i'm kick butt at work, and of course, wearing myself down to get ahead... feel a need to prove something...

eventually some monies will come back my way, deadbeat client claims to be paying this week, though they're trying to pay the same amount for W2 vs 1099. right. taxes were delayed. other issues.

but soon, i shall be my own man again, somewhat.

think i might need a couple of those wonder sling-shots.

mmm

otherwise, my toy list is things like "leaf blowers" and "tree pruners"

the joy :)

umm, pardon me sir but if I recall correctly I think I seen a couple HI Khukuris hiding within your treasure chest...

did you say pruner?? :)

a couple? COUPLE? the left chest is almost all HI of the finest quality made by Masters :) some axe here and there.

none of them gots 16 feet of reach, with a nibbler and a saw. it's like a pool leaf skimmer. for trees.

okay, okay keep your britches on.... I may have seen a FEW :D

from what hear you can throw those and they act as boomerangs... course this may or may not depend on the maker.. :)

and you may or may not want to have a flying, spinning knife return to you at high speed.

and you may or may not want to have a flying, spinning knife return to you at high speed.

again it depends on what Kami made it... :D

oh and I forgot to add a disclaimer...

* don't try this at home or anywhere else to prune high branches, unless of course you're sure the Kami had the 'turn around' juice going on at the time the steel was forged.. :p

Yeowch. Just spent the last several hours grinding on a 36" OAL piece of CPM 3V. Making a sword, with a 28" blade, and grinding a blade that long freehand is HARD, especially considering how tough 3V is to grind on (with an old belt). My back hurts now; I need to find a way to grind long blades that doesn't end up messing up my back...

Aaaaand... I got it! A kabar 1026, in quite ok condition. And the great part: It cost me 5usd! Pics when it gets here:-P

What a steal! looking forward to pics.

Well, the knife ain't here yet -of course- but I could already show the pictures the seller had up at the auction...

Yep, let's do that! I'll make a thread on it in the traditional forum when it arrives.

Including shipping, it cost me 10usd. I feel like I stole it... (it wasn't on the US eBay, perhaps that's why no one jumped on it).

Computer arrives tomorrow.... 1 more day.... I love prime! Hell I only live a hour or 2 from the warehouse, free 2 day or I can get local delivery for 4 bucks if ordered by like 7am same day delivery on allot of stuff.

any Balisong dancers in here....??

I used to have a few when I was around 13 or so and loved 'em, lately they've been calling me to dance.... I'll have to check my 'vague' laws but I'd like to pick one up down the road.... and if the juices really get going I could see me making one of those WAY before I attempted a folder :D
