It's obvious the two top choices are the Swayback and the Barlow, how about a vote between the two, I think it's close enough to merit another vote to give some a chance to change their minds or solidify the Swayback choice, what do you guys think?

This is reasonable and we may need to think about the practicalities of a Swayback as only CASE has one(small too). I'd still like to see a Swayback though.

yeah that swell center jack from page 2 is nice but I don't see it on their website

SVRIDER, that knife's still in the developmental stages 'till they get some kinks worked out, see post #59.

If you are stuck between Barlow and Swayback, whynot design a Swayback Barlow with Bold Clip and the second blade a large Wharncliffe?

everything laser cut. Canal St may be able to find bolsters that will work and save the cost of tooling.

Turn the frame over AG and you might have something, you know kinda like a Barlow Trapper?

I already have that in two sizes. I have not put them into production yet but I have a maker doing some of them for me, Joe Kious is one. The one I sent him has been turned into an interframe barlow.

I'm getting a headache trying to keep everything straight. The most popular choices are the barlow and the swayback, but will these knives be single blade or double blades?

Congratulations AG. I really like the pattern and will be looking forward to their release...

Stay tuned kamagong I don't think any body knows any answers to what's being built yet...

I know I'm hoping for single blades in either the swayback jack or Barlow!

Whoa! That sounds ... attractive.

Ok, I see now.

Let me ask you something, you said you took a ride over there?
Did they have a retail part of the factory, were you able to buy one while you were there?

I have friends I am visiting in Pine bush in a month or two and I know it's right down the road.

Barlow (Great eastern cutlery)

bone scales

carbon steel blades

large clip and spear point blades

I am gettin a little cross eyed trying to figure it out. My heart goes out to whoever is organizing this. I will buy whatever knife is decided upon, because it has BF on it. Because I dig hangin around on BF.
2 cents deposited in the coffer...:o

Here is a nice example of one of Ken Erickson's Swaybacks.

This is just a terrific knife IMHO.

Scales are a very nice black micarta which requires no maintenance. The Swayback is a very useful knife which just seems to fit as an extension of your hand.

Will we be notified by pm whenever the pattern is decided?I don't want to miss out. I thought this was stickied.

That would be a lot a PMs going out. Why not just subscribe to this thread and receive instant, daily or weekly email updates?
