Gifts for a marine

Endura is boxed and ready to leave tomorrow, shipped to the address you provided. Using Priority Mail.
I had to use a Spydie CF Mili box.
I used a mouse pad and 220 grit to get some scratches out and cleaned it up. It's now good to go, again.

Thank you again. I wasn't expecting such generocity when I started this thread. It just goes to show that there are still some good people in the world.

What amazes me is that between the Busse thread and this one, there has been over 650 views, and yet I haven't seen any other help??

I never met a Marine who didn't greatly appreciate a KaBar. It is a symbol as much as a tool. We give them to eachother as gifts to mark occasions. I don't know why the KaBar wouldn't be popular here? It has opened more crates, dug more holes, chopped open more fuselage and taken more lives than any other knife I could think of...

This is a Marine we are talking about, if you locked him in a room with a five pound ball bearing he will figure out a way to either break it or lose it. So the KaBar should do fine.

Those days have gone , there's a better selection.

So I suppose we can send them in with a Swiss Army knife, or better yet, a bag of rocks and take the country?

be sure to bag the molle portion of the sheath...

please post after gifting your bud!

SS Endura is on its way, Priority Mail.
DC# 0308 2040 0000 6848 1163

Please gift it to him after he graduates.
If for some reason he is Unsat for the Marines, please send it back so I can give it to someone who is headed for the Sandbox.

Thanks again, AR fan. I have complete confidence that he will finish. Me and him go way back, to 5th grade, and it's always been his dream to be a Marine. I have no doubt that he will finish. I will let him know that this knife was not a gift from us, but from a fellow knife nut.

Just tell him it was given to him by a retired soldier, who wanted it to go back on duty.

I'm just disappointed, considering the 800~ views of this thread that there hasn't been more help provided.

By "help", do you mean donations? You have NO idea what people here have already given to members of our armed forces, whether family or friends or anonymous strangers.

Please don't suggest we have an obligation to wave our generosity around for whatever reason.

GEE, sorry Esav. I do remember the "Thanks" I received when I got off the plane from "Nam all the way til the Gulf.
