Give-Away Criteria

I'll jump in for the camper, I just love SAK's, I can't really think of much of a reason why I should have it, but one can never have enough SAK's eh? :D

Send me your shipping information.

As for what's been going on...
I've been pretty sick (see previous posts) and am starting to feel better. The antibiotics and steroids are doing their jobs, and I'm able to do a bit more. Work is still crappy, as I'm there around 65 hours a week if I'm lucky. If not, then I'm there for around 70-75 hours weekly. This leaves very little time to do fun things like go outside with my family or play on the Internet, but it's better than being sick all day and night :thumbdn:

I used to post on here two or three times a day, and I just haven't been able to do much in the past few weeks. On top of being sick and having crappy work hours, I've recently experienced some - and I have to be very careful how I word this - serious financial problems. It looks to be almost over now, but it still exists. I'm not trying to make excuses for delaying the give-away, but I feel that the posters who are still viewing have the right to know what the status of the give-away is. It's still going on, and will continue to go as planned.

I'm starting the give-away back up in hopes that I'll be able to finish it and get everybody's packages out before something else can happen. Thanks for all of your patience, and good luck to everybody...

This is for the carbon steel (yellow plastic handle) Case Sodbuster Jr.

This will run from now until this time (15.16) Saturday so the give-away can get started back up. Good luck to everyone and thanks again for your patience.

Does the speed of the reply tell you how much I want a Sodbuster:D

On a serious note, glad you are up to getting back to the "fun" stuff! I hope you get everything on track.

The Sodbuster is one pattern I don't have, and I thought this would be a great way to check one out with a little age on it to see how they might hold up. I will definitely post photos if I get lucky.
Thanks.

Hope you've been well J man :)

Call me to BS if'in you find time soon.

Joe, I'm alive and that's all that I care about right now. I feel like crap, but that's okay. I'm broke, but that's okay. I'm broke because I needed a lawyer, and I think you know why (a conversation we had a few months ago). But it's all good.
I actually misplaced your number when we moved, so I don't have it handy. I'll see if I have it stored in my old E-mails. Haven't seen you at Clark Knives in a while, but I don't go there as much as I should ;)

Woohoo!, glad to see you're still alive, thanks!

JNieporte, glad to see you again! Sorry to learn about your health and other unhappy circumstances, and hats off to you for continuing the giveaway in spite of all this. Take care! :)

Hey, glad to see you're back and up again! Hope you're feeling a little better since last time, and good luck to your health.

Oh yeah, and I'd like in on this one. I wanna see how a buried Sodbuster Jr. does.

Glad to see that you are OK. Crappy to hear about the monetary troubles. I have been there. Having to pay an attorney is a pain in the butt...but in my case (and I hope yours) it was totally 100% worth every penny.

It will all pass eventually and you will feel better before you know it!

I'd like in on the Sodbuster too. I havent had a decent traditional slipjoint yet, and everyone tells me I need to get one. I have got to see what all this fuss is about. Also never had a Case before.

I also like yellow. :)

after all the money and time youve put into this giveaway feel free to take your time and get better, theres not a single person here who wouldnt mind waitin especially for someone so generous.

Send me your shipping information. Win won the yellow car! Er, Sodbuster, sorry. I got carried away. Remember, there's another Sodbuster (the same exact model) up for grabs later.

This is for the second Buck 110. This one has a leather sheath. The contest will run from now until this time (15.56) Monday. I'd end it tomorrow as scheduled, but I have to work a double shift and have some Mother's Day stuff to do for my mama. Good luck to all.

Put me in for this one :) Classy lockback with lots of tradition. And now my knife budget is going to be practically non-existent due to my gaining the interest of a nice young lady (:D), so my chances of my being able to buy one is as close to zilch as possible.

Howdy JNieporte and all,

I'm glad you're feeling a little better  Best of luck for your other "issues" :(

I believe I should win the Buck 110 instead of anyone else for many reasons - here's the top 10:

10. I never had a Buck 110, as opposed to many knife nuts. Not too sure why; the knife really appeals to me, it is a classic, but never pulled the trigger. Hopefully now's my chance!
9. I will actually use the knife, in real outdoor (and office survival :)) situation...
8. I refrained from posting for the Opinel, Endura, Dragonfly, Kabar (Even if I wanted them all!) to give others more chance; did you read that guys? :)
7. I was genuinly interested in your experiment (still are), as proven by the fact I posted in your other thread not knowing you'd give away the knives. I'm actually very interested to see how it held up to 4 years underground, in "relative" protection!
6. I never had any Buck knives - maybe this one will be the first of many :o
5. I'm interested in comparing the Buck 110 lock construction with the other lockback I own: Cara-cara, delica, mini-manix.
4. I didn't have a folder knife fix in 2009 ...yet.
3. I will never sell this knife - may end up giving it away, but will probably keep it in my folder rotation and use it.
2. It's the second to last knife of the list, and I haven't win any yet!
1. I'm not wally@ferguson, nor I am related in any way :D

In any case, thank you very much for sharing this experiment with all of us, especially with all that happened.

This whole giveaway thread was a blast to watch!

Take care!

Congrats, Tripton on that yellow Soddie Jr! Make sure to take some nice pictures of it. I wanna see how a buried CV knife fairs under weird conditions.

Glad to see your feeling better and sorry bout the fin. trouble, I'd like a shot at the buck 110.
About fifteen years ago after my first child was born, me and the wife were broke and that christmas we couldn't buy many gifts for her family so we decided to make each gift or give something we all ready had that was new, well my uncle had given me a buck 110 bout a year before, so when it was time to decide what to give my brother in law, the buck 110 was a great choice, and he loved it. Well about a year later I was helping him in his garage when I went to grab a pipe wrench out of his tool box when I saw the buck 110 I gave him sitting in a pool of what looked liked two part epoxy resin, It was trashed, I couldn't believe it, he hadn't even used it. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if my uncle hadn't given it to me. So I would love the chance to own and care for another 110.
