I'd like to know the same thing. Independant, repeatable figures would be nice to see.

Still waiting.

Plus, Goncz, I'd like to ask what Al was on your back about?

I may made a mistake by posting as to the 'size15s' but that guy was on my back before and before he would jump again I posted Our finding.

That made me curious so I searched and the closest posts I could find fitting that description he has asked for pictures of your lights an inordinate amount of times. Shame on him.

After reading Al's (Size15s) posts on Blade Forums and CandlePowerForums. I find nothing offensive. I find nothing critical towards Goncz flashlights. I see requests for pictures and stats. I would like to know your definition of 'attack' in light of Al and other members of this forum and CPF posts on your products.

This what I think is an attack:

Goncz flashlights suck.

This is what I think is an request for info:

What are your lumen ratings and how did you arrive at those numbers?

It is my opinion that you're construing requests for info as attacks.

Granted there are attacks on your character and seeing the word magnanimous is not in your vocabulary you tend to inflame the situation rather than diffuse it. Anyways, that's not what I'm after. Obvious attacks do not need to be revisted.

The Goncz Hi-Tech weapons to most of you sounds familiar, the weapons that was introduced in the 1985 and featured in the motion pictures: "Total Recall" with Schwarzenegger, "Asassins" with Bandera, "Planet of the Apes" with Hon. Charlton Heston (also president of the NRA)and many more. This weapons came under axe by the assault weapons bill. You know... Note he states his guns were introduced in 1985. And used by Charlton Heston in "Planet of the Apes". But that movie came out in 1968.

David-

Funny you caught/mention that. I just rewatched the original "Planet of the Apes" movie, with Charlton Heston, and the handgun (in the astronaut's survival kit anyways) was not the Goncz pistol. It was some rather generic looking semi-auto, a la Smith & Wesson or simple movie prop.

OTOH, I think Goncz was referring to the "Planet of the Apes" remake with Mark Wohlberg (gag me :barf:), which may have used his gun as one of the props.

Stated by Mr. Goncz on Knight's Armaments BBS(quotation thanks to Mr. David Williams):

Among features they are all water proof up to 500 feet

Current text of same introduction that Mr David Williams, as quoted from the Goncz website:

Trade Mark of the lights: GÖNCZ Designs, Thread-less Quick focusing, Water - Proof, Rechargeable,

Now are the lights getting worse or is the advertising becoming more circumspect/truthful?

WILLIAMS,

The last film "Planet of the Apes" was released about 2 years ago.

If you do not believe, go and see it. You can even buy 'action figure' with the gun.

Have fun!!!!!!!!!1

He does have you there as I just remembered that Mr. Hesston was in the latest one. was on screen for all of 30 seconds or so.

LOL! OK. I'll go watch the one with Marky Mark.

Funny Goncz will respond to that but not tell us which lab did his light measurements.

 :p

My sincerest apologies to Mr. Goncz. When he posted "Planet of the Apes" with Hon. Charlton Heston (also president of the NRA) I sincerely thought he meant the original 1968 version starring Charlton Heston. Not the 2001 version with a 5 minute cameo of Chuck (starring Marky Mark). My six pack enhanced (The only way I could make my way through the POS, liberally biased movie) count of the modified Tec 9 ...oops... I mean Goncz HIGH TECH GA-9 ;) scenes are at 4 and a few minor scenes.

Now put me in my place and give us a list of the lab(s) that performed the lumen ratings of your lights.

WILLIAMS,

Thanks for the research and posting my postings. I would like to ask you to keep doing it as seems to me that You have lot of time on hand, just post them all over the Web as this is free advertising for us.

We may compensate you for it with a light, that will blow not only your sight, but also your mind.

As to the lab test we are purchassing all the comparable lights and will be put to the test and measured, certified and published. Until the test are completed we will not publish partial findings.
:) :D

I've been finding this thread so entertaining that I printed it out to show friends and colleagues what piss-poor customer service and attitude is all about. I've actually been accused of making this Goncz character up. NOBODY can be that bad, they tell me.

They think I based Goncz on the Iraqi Information Minister. :D

If the actual performance of your lights even match half the figures you've been claiming, I might as well sell off all my Surefires and pay less for your lights. But then again maybe not, from the feedback of those who made that fatal decision to buy your lights. Thanks for saving me plenty of money and headaches guys.

Goncz Hi-Tech flashlights that leaves others(...meaning the poor sods that actually bought them) in the Dark(..yup, in the dark about when their lights will arrive, when will damaged parts be replaced, where is my refund etc etc etc)!!!!

You stating Tec =9 is a clear admission, that you have no clues about firearms.
I corrected myself. ;)

Now. About that lab. When are you going to let us know which lab did the testing of your lights?

(Edited to add) ... But now that I'm here, I just followed the link in David Williams' post below and clicked on "Chongor." Well, well, guess whose email addy popped up?

goncz1@earthlink.net

H I L A R I O U S ! ! ! ! :D :D :D

I'm still waiting for an answer as to which lab you had your lights tested at.

But it is also becoming clear that you are spamming message boards wherever you can find them. Why such penny ante tactics for someone who has government contracts? The private sector should be chump change. This type of advertising is free but less effective than normal avenues.

Check out chongor's offtopic post. I realize english is not you're primary language. But it sure seems like you were trying to be someone else praising Goncz High Tech Flashlights.

CPF could've been a gold mine for you. As it seems you need public sales. All you had to do was deliver products that lived up to claimed specs and take care of your customers. And don't piss off the owner.
