Gentlebeings, we've gotten a number of complaints about Mr. Goncz' posts, privately as well as in posts, but here in TGB&U we believe it is in the best interests of the consumer to allow vendors to display their character and business ethics as much as they want to -- in fact we encourage it. Of course people who've been following these threads from the beginning might well think they've seen enough already, but every time Mr. Goncz posts more people have the opportunity to get to know him. There are new members joining all the time, and every day more people searching and surfing the web come across this forum, and every time Mr. Goncz posts this thread moves to the top of the forum again.

TGB&U is intended for the Bad and the Ugly as well as for the Good. Of course that applies only to TGB&U and not to the rest of Bladeforums -- you'll notice I've moved a couple of Mr. Goncz' threads here from other forums.
 
I've certainly seen enough of Goncz to know that if I'm ever in the market for a quality flashlight, his name will not be on the list.

So, about giving back my money no word. About solving the problem: no real solution. That's 'leaving your customer in the dark'. Just the old song ' I don't respond'. There were absolutely no need to let this get so out of hand like this. Instead of solving this problems you acted very unprofessional.

I think the problem is that you can't stand that your product is not (always) matching your statements of their performance. If someone is questioning something about your lights you are getting rude. It's always the mistake of the other.


Take Arc flashlights. They had their problems too. But they analysed their problems and did everything to solve these problems. By doing that they have these great lights they have now. Something like this would be unbelievable with PG!!! In fact I can't believe this is happening...

In fact this all a big joke (except the fact that I lost my money...). The only positve thing is that I regular LOL .
 
I was one of those complaining to Cougar, but since then I've come round to TOB9595's view. Sort of like watching Showgirls or Species for the first time. I couldn't believe I'd paid to see such mind-numbingly stupid films; but about halfway through, I realized, "Hey, this is REALLY GOOD ENTERTAINMENT!!!"

Thanks especially to BlackBart for the lively posts that keep this kind of thread bearable: the irony. :)

AND don't forget that there is a possibility of remediating at least some of the folk that were left shorted.
I haven't seen any of their posts yet. But I do hope to.
Fingers crossed. This is the purpose of all this.

Your posting is appriciated and as You stated as soon as I post the visitors number goes high, in the way that good as the interesst is there for whatever reason...

As You can see the same posters are attacking me or my products without any merit. We not saying buy our lights, what we are doing is posting the facts and some people do not like that something is better, than they have. Questioning the spec. etc. Those are the facts. We know wher they comming from and we will deal with it at appropriate time...

I may made a mistake by posting as to the 'size15s' but that guy was on my back before and before he would jump again I posted Our finding.
Kevin took action and maybe was appropriate. No beef on Our side and we feel He is a nice Guy and has Our respects.

Also I believe that my postings are informative down to the details: what, why, where, etc.

We will not tollerate anybody to call us clown and You can see that some of the postings by Whistler and Bart was totally out line and we will deal with it at appropriate time. A free speach dos not gives You the right to shou "FIRE" and than shout a disclamer. They bit more than they can chew. Someone should remind them about some ethics. We also filled all the complains that anybody had. As You can see some of them even tried to extort products they did not paid for it and we draw the line to cut the goodwill to theem. As You can see that couple of "Blechtromlers" are beating the drum, not realizing that is worthless as we are selling everything we can produce and due to the demand by Gov. and overseas, we may cut back the sales to the civilian market.

The demand for the light is great and the profesionals are choosing our lights over the competition. So when someone can not critizise the product they critizising me , spelling etc. My english is may not the best and that is just fine. The real critizisem should come from persons that have technical experties and have as much achievment as I and will accept it.

You may get e mails that complaining without merits. The same time the e-mails we receiving are totally supportive and that is important. The persons have the products and they can evaluate it no one give negative coments, and if they would as long as is the facts is fine and welcome, that we may missed an important feature, that we can improve.

We believ there is no place for personal attacks and we are refraining from it, but when someone is calling me a 'clown', that guy is out of line 'Big Time'. We will not accept it and react to it.

Any rules are to be followed, we will do it.

I believ the Forum represent the cross section of the society and we just live with it.

Any further suggestion you post it or in private E-mail is welcome.
 
That post was the funniest stuff I have read in a long time. Please do not stop being a legend in your own mind, it's funny as hell.

I called you a clown. And I stand by it as represented by your actions here and the private e-mail you sent me insulting my mother. Actually "clown" impliies that you're doing this for a laugh. I believe now, however, that it's just misguided and sad.

I cannot believe that anyone would believe that this repeated behavior will result in a positive end for the company or it's products, It just keeps getting deeper.
 
I'm saddened, though not surprised, to report despite my initial support and even somewhat positive review of his M5 in late 2002, Mr. Goncz has completely failed me with false promises and non-delivery of goods.

I have been owed for over 7 months (since Nov. 2002): a) parts for my M5 (including bulbs and a functioning AC-charger--for which BTW I paid FULL List price to Mr. Goncz) and b) an M3 (in return for not cancelling my M5 order and returning it for credit).

After my M5 Review post was resurrected 3 weeks ago, Mr. Goncz contacted me by email and phone at that time to say he "lost my address" in a computer crash. And while this excuse was only slightly more believable than the "dog ate my homework", I gave him my address and the benefit of the doubt.

Well, its been 3 weeks, and nothing has been delivered to me.

Extract your own lesson from my experience.

this sounds familiar to me. I'm not sure where I have heard this (in fact exact) same story before...

But than we shouldn't bother about one little customer.


My time is much more valuable than to biker about one order...

Wow, this guy is sounding more and more like a tool. Based on what I have heard here I have one more question:

Does he deliver on anything he promises?

His posts sure are comical. Certainly not good for business but he seems as far from a Businessman as one can get and it sounds like his lights need work!!!
 
Now with the technology we are able to trace the posters and get information on it, there is clear some of them can not afford a $55.00 light, not to mention some of other products that we are working on, that the cost will be beyond $6,000.00



This is jsut flat out bull. First off, Ir eally doubt that Spark is giving you access to the logged IPs of posters on here. Secondly, tracing the IP(only information you can get unless you're paying a private detective to do a full investigation of each and eveyr poster, with at least some illegal/shady means), means nothing. I know a Doctor with a net worth of over 12 million US dollars who uses Netzero for his internet access, and another of same level of worth using the fastest connection he can buy locally.

You can BS about your products all you want, people are catching you on that. But don't try to BS computer stuff when you have myself(and probalby other) computer secutiry experts present cuz I"ll shove that crap right back down your throat.

You are refraining from personal attacks? That's a good one, anyone who read this thread knows that's not true. In fact I'm quite sure that your personal attacks are what keeps people coming back to this thread. :rolleyes:

There is both drama (people expecting costumer service and not finding it) and humour (your behaviour towards people) to be found here, almost like a sitcom on tv. I guess people have a sweet tooth for this sh*t...

I do hope it doesn't take you another 6 months. ;)

About biting off more than we can chew... I think your previous ventures have proven you are the one guily of that. ;)
