I'm also waiting on zenon bulbs, so I can test the lights accurately.

If they are supposed to run with Xenon bulbs, why doesn't John include them?
If not, what is the use of testing with them?
Doesn't seem like a fair test if people buying the light need to mod it before it performs well...

He has responded to all things critical until the light measurement issue. And I've seen him online since the question came up.

Hopefully he'll reply and let us all know that he does know the difference between lumens, candlepower and lux.

As for which bulb he includes in his product I don't know. My guess is he was going after a maximum light measurement rather than a good, useable color temp.

While using my M-3, I have noticed that the included Halogen bulb acts more like a flood, than a spot.

I have been using it along with my Stinger, and the M-3 lights up more area than the Stinger does, which I'm finding quite handy.

I have adjusted the 'focus' on each light, and the M-3 is better than the Stinger in overall 'flood' capability. I'm starting to like the M-3's halogen lamp, even though I would rather have a xenon bulb in it.

I'm anxious to test the M-2 against the other 2x123A lights in my arsenal. Hopefully I'll be able to do that soon.

If he has been online, I wonder why he didn't respond...
I thought he wanted to resolve the problems stated previously?

Fact remains that Whistler still has a defective charger, and the light shipped to me was not the correct one... I do hope anybody having unresolved matters get what was promised...

So far I haven't seen his promise to solve the problems they have with Göncz rewarded...

As always, I'm more than willing to retract my statements regarding his buisness ethics, as soon as he is rewarding his promisses...
Helas, to this moment, I'm still waiting for a reply (any reply) indicating a change in attitude from mr Göncz. :( (or for that matter, any response...)

I havn't seen him in a while. If/when he does show up again I'll renew the request for his explanation on how he measures the light output of his flashlights.

RESPOND:

I am spending less time on the Forum as to the pressing projects, but here I will make some cleaning.

To: WHISTLER,

I did called you 3 times to speak to you about the delay, but your phone was not answered... So I was going to call you again, but in the meantime you posted damagin and untrue statements, Gues what you just created a liability for yourself... A free speach, dos not erlaws you to shout FIRE in a theater... The charger was worrking when it was shipped out, I rechecked myself. We believ that your statements are untrue!!!!!!

We do not believe what you are saying, therefore you want to have it checked, you mail it to us and if is defective, which is unlikely, we will repair or replace it. That all and we will not respond anymore to your postings.

To: BART,

We sent you a light out of goodwill, but you do not appriciate it, and the posting goes to you same as to whistler you bit more than you can chew... Additionally we even will send you an invoice for it...

To: OTHERS

AS to the technical question, they are all posted.

The above posting is reflecting 100% of the offline E mail we received in Our position. ( Some suggestions would burn the forum and some suggestions are not posted, due to a good taste and respect to Kevin and as is said: In Rome, You act like the Romans...)

4.) Machined Aluminum reflector
5.) Fail safe switch / Mommentary ON / ON
6.) Machined Aluminum housing 6061-T6 Aircraft Quality
7.) The lens is special Boroflo from Germany

9.) CNC macined parts
10.) Polished and Anodized .001 thick
11.) Spare bulb in the tailswitch

To.: WILL NOT BUY

Now with the technology we are able to trace the posters and get information on it, there is clear some of them can not afford a $55.00 light, not to mention some of other products that we are working on, that the cost will be beyond $6,000.00

To.: SPELLING

Anyone else getting even more put off these by the distinct disdain and contempt for customers this clown is exhibiting?

You couldn't GIVE me one of these.

John, you still don't have a clue do you? I could care less about your light, it is the principle that counts.
The fact remains you did promise a different light than sended.

Goodwill? You only sent me something after a lot of hassle, and not even what you promised. I did do a lot of work on your site, and it was your choice not to use it... It was not my idea you would have to send me a rechargeable light, it was something you promised. I guess talk is cheap. Forgive me if I am disapointed in you, but it seems your word is worth next to nothing...

As far as sending me an invoice, I have plenty toiletpaper already, and for that matter, a better quality as well.

For someone who wants to clean his slate, you sure are using a dirty eraser...

For a long time I have given you the benefit of doubt, but I finally see your true colors. I hope others can benefit from my experience.

Every morning that you are looking into the mirror and seeing a clown, do not try to pin the same picture on someone else, especialy on someone that you are no match!!!

LUMEN / KELVIN

It is very simple: the manufacturer gives us the data and to re-assure the numbers, we had it tested by a reputable lab.

The posting that we did the only typing error I made it was the 6 Volt at 3499 Kelvin instead of 3199. this is also in writing.

If you still wondering, why is the high Lumen is simple: we using a special bulb that is twice the size of the others and the volume gas is also higher and the pressure in the bulb is at least 25% higher.
Also the surface of the reflector is about 30% bigger, as well deeper, thereby the reflector is catching more redirectable light. The output Lux may slightly differs as the focus position of the bulb provides more Lux, than the flood as the bulb is positioned further forward in the reflector, thereby some light escapes without, the redirection that is reflecting by the reflector. Also the reflector curves is verry important to catch the maximum light. For instance we are manufacturing our own reflectors and there are four curves creating the inside shape of the reflector. Combined all the above gives us far supperior light beam. This is about in the nutshell.

Some of the bulbs are Xenon and others are Halogen. The Xenon gas keeps the filiament cleaner, the Halogen is more acceptable of driving it close to the melting point 3525 plus Kelvin.

The comparisson by various agencies is recognized domestically and overseas and the demand for the lights are exceptional.

I hope that gives you some answers, that could be pages...

You may seen, some postings indicating the very bright output by persons that have the lights.

DIAMOND,

Well I may act like a 'troll' that is in the Skandinavian folklore / mytology described a giant / held etc. If that what you refering to, thanks for the complimant.

As usual you are wrong again...
And FYI, a troll in Scandinavian mythology also refers to a dwarfish person. ;) I think most people would mean the latter, if they were even thinking about that kind of troll.
