Dave, a memorial is usually after something is over or dies. I see no end in sight for this thread (and it still brings smiles and sometimes guffaws from me) nor do I think it'll die anytime soon. Least I hope not after a rough night or day at work I can always see what the newest post is here :)
I don't watch Friends or Blind Date anymore..I come here. :) :rolleyes: :p
So what is a living memorial?

So goncz, tell us - which lab did the testing. Given your track record I wager you are feeding us another lie. Forgive me if i'm wrong of course- i mean you could be on the up and up( there is a first time for everything.).
so quit skirting the issue. give david an answer. or do you not have one?

as for your bogus story on bart i get the feeling that you were the guilty party and bart was not.

Im glad it was mentioned that you are a thief. I thought it was just me and 3 dozen others that noticed that you are lazy enough to take the work of others and use it for your own site. And no - I don't think that these companies gave you permision unless of course they pitied you. I mean - if you think your light is better than theirs why have proof that you are wrong?

The sad thing is that your lights might be a worthwhile waste of money if it weren't for the fact that you can't trust the company, the owner is not only a liar but has NO INTEGRETY , the rechargable systems are not checked (oh be quiet- we all know you did not check those chargers so drop it!)at the factory and are faulty, in fact none of the lights are checked, and the lights are only waterproof to a depth of <insert the latest goncz rating here>.

As it is the only ones i see that are actually satisfied with the lights got them at no cost. Heck , who can complain about free stuff?

as for the lights being better than surefire- the $25 G2 has any goncz POS beat hands down.

face it - goncz leaves everyone in the dark!

You so smart, why don't you introduce yourself and tell us who you are, so We can put a weight to it. Otherwise everybody will see from your posting the level you on.
 
The Saga continues, somebody should serialise this . :D

Its too bad about all the negative feedback that this company has received, thanks to Goncz himself. I actually like the design of the lights and would have bought an M3 myself if I thought Icould trust the company's customer service and output claims. I do not want to receive a defective product and have the owner of the company call me names when I press my claim.

OT, but I could have sworn I saw a Goncz M3(or some other light that looked remarkably like it) in one episode of Alias, carried by Sidney's partner while she was herself carrying a Surefire M4.

"Self Destruction - A Prime Time BF Internet Special" just about sums it up for me.

Seldom does such an occasion as this arise where ego, denial and compulsive behavior combine in a public forum to provide a clear picture of one so aggressively and consistently acting in a manner diametrically opposed to his best interest.

I find myself following this spectacle with guilty fascination, as at a train wreck. I am uncomfortable with the image, but can't seem to tear my eyes away.

It's a shame, as his product seems to hold great promise, which, without a considerable change in attitude and approach, is likely doomed to remain only a promise.
 
while you should be able to know the answer to that question as well as my yearly salary with that technology that you say you have i will assume that it isn't working today.

Mr Goncz wake up! Take care of your (and others) business! Be a man of honour and stand behind the promises you have given! Aren't you ashamed that this thread is getting longer and longer meanwhile you do nothing else than insulting people (instead of be a man of your word an solving problems)!

I'm unsure whether he deems me his enemy, though. After all he does state that I am "so smart".

And yes, it is very obvious that he is skirting the issue of the lab.

So gonczo- made up a name for that lab yet?
 
hello my fellow cpf guys!

in the goncz-review-thread John has offered me a complete M3 with the new features as a compensation. I declined this because it is an unnecessary expense for him. I'd just like the new bezel with borofloat lens, a xenon bulb and maybe this new lockout switch he is talking about to review his products fairly at their maximum performance.

a Goncz-enemy ... hm ... no. I have been victim to someone who made some huge mistakes in the past, but he is trying to correct them now, so let's see if anything shows up at my door ...
while I can understand your hard feelings towards John, I have decided to give him a real second chance with me (personally), even if this might not make sense to most of us on CPF ...
if he fails that chance again, I am all with you, but untill then, I'll treat John with the same respect as I treat anyone else.
and btw, there never were any harsh words between John and me, so I hold no personal grudges like you do, there is just this one big professional failure of his in the past.

I wouldn't call him an enemy either. I'm mainly dissapointed in his behaviour. It would have been nice for him to have a fresh start, since his light, although in need of some improvements, does have potential.
I fear this will not happen though. Sad... :(

It would seem to me that if Mr. Goncz really had a report from an independent laboratory that confirmed his companies claims, that he would be only to willing to post those results. After all, that would certainly show his products in a very good light (pun intended). His continued refusal to tell which lab and to post the test results leads me to believe that they do not exist. Can you prove me wrong Mr. Goncz?

Well, i dont know anything about these flashlights, and while i can understand the aggrivation if he preceives certain people out to get him, still, if you represent a company, you had better have some semblance of tact and diplomacy, or hire someone for that if you cant do it, but, the funniest thing in this thread, and i cant be the only one who sees the irony is that he was saying that someone didn't have the intelligence to make a statement or something similar, but the irony and humor is that he spelled it "INTELIGANCE" which aint even CLOSE! Its like the old joke when you say: "Edited for spelink", but somehow i dont think he's joking. :)
