Hi Bart...More people are seeing your pictures now I see. Your pictures are great.
Hi Roth...Roth, I am so impressed with you over here.
Hi Spoosha...Your the best, but what does Spoosha mean, I like Sasha as a handle better.
Hi CPF people...You guys are all great.
Hello Knife people...I need to get a custom knife built by one of you one of these days

Hello Goncz...I do not know what to say to you at this time. Everyone has said it soooooo well.

I like Surefire, I like Arc, I like MrBulk lights, I like Tvord lights, I like HotBeam Lights. I think I would even like Roths light but I don't have a Roth light yet.

I must be on the light conspiracy payroll for liking all of these lights, They just forgot to pay me. I will have to talk to them about that, sheesh.

I don't sell or make flashlights, but I will be selling some soon, but I will not for a second tell anyone the lights I will be selling are as good or better than Surefire or Arc. I will not be able to say my lights are better because they will not be better.

I sell recharable batteries that work in some Surefire 123 lights as well as some others. Oh, I do have a vested interest. Ok, I guess I am part of the conspiracy even though I bet my batteries would work in your light too. Hmmmm, maybe I should sell Goncz lights just to be able to say that I do.

Goncz>Can I be part of your dealer network? I better keep the inventory small in case I don't sell any.

Now what kind of a knife do I want? My favorite place to carry a knife (Folder) is utilizing a pocket clip but instead with the knife tucked inside of my pants at the hip just in front of my handgun held in place by the clip with the belt over the top of the clip. I am thinking 3.5-4 inch blade 4.0-4.5 closed and somethat thin since my prefered way to carry is a bit different. What kind of locking method do I want since a flat profile is important to me?

Thanks All

Howdy Jon!!

Heck of a place for your first post, but you gotta start somewhere...

Welcome to the forums!!

You need one of these...

OOOOOOOOOOOO! blade, that is a pretty little piece! My daughter has one of those in her purse... she's the one who got me hooked on Elishewitz knives... :D

Hi Jon!! :D ... Spoosha comes from a very long time ago in a place very far away. I was the administrator of another bulletin board and another idiot that I had to deal with used to think it clever to come up with different variations of my name... Sasha. So one day, he came up with Spoosha and I adopted it to spite him. He never "played" with my name again... and Spoosha kinda stuck. I used to have this really neat avatar that went with the name... wish I could find that little blue guy again... he was cute... ;)

hey Blade....

Does that come with a black finsh, hides better next to my clothings shades of gray at work. And I want it in Goncz type Titanium.

ooops, sorry about that. I am currently tucking an old black on black BenchMade ACKF I think is its name but it is starting to slowly show its age.

Welcome to the board Jon! I hope you are enjoying yourself here, particularly in this thread. If you're not, I think you will soon. :)

OddOne:

The pinmark on your USGS photo marks the location of a quicklube business. The given/listed addy for g.b.'s operation is actually almost directly across the street and is in a small mail drop business (similar to a mailboxes etc. but not as clean). :D

Thanks for the info. This is the first confirmation of g.b. doing any real business with the DoD or any real government agency.

When I first plugged his address is I got back "Scorpian Porn"! Same address different "suite" number.

Soooooooo,

I get a return email from CarolCo pictures today and part of it is as follows,

" We do not rent, borrow or otherwise make arrangements for the use of firearms from private parties or manufactures in ANY of our motion pictures. We do rent firearms from Hollywood Gun Rentals, a company that has served the industry since 1940. If the director (Paul Verhoven) wanted a certain type of gun in a movie, he would have the producer contact HGR, tell him what they want and they would send several guns over for the production staff to review and make a choice from."

As to the question of knives or other weapons, we rent some from HGR, some are taken care of by special effects crews, but we would NEVER use any kind of product furnished by the maker in its original form. None of our actors or special effects people would ever use a "live" blade or knife in any way. The danger to the actors and crew would be too great.

In closing, we have NO RECORD of any sort of a agreement made with Mr. John Goncz to use or endorse his products, the decision to use the pistol in question would have come from the director or production staff, not from CarolCo and if he did get mentioned in the credits, it was due to an oversight on our part, not due to the fact the he recieved compensation for his submission.

So John, the movie company says you are full of crap. The gun rental company would like your contact number, it seems you owe the magazines thay have paid for, and you still have not proven anything to anyone here on this forum, or anywhere else.

Please go outside and play in traffic.

:D

COuld've tola y'all the bit about not using knives in their original form, from makers, just wasn't thinking. Been out of theatre business too long.

But any knives we ever used(in general for stage/special effects combat) were not something you'd ever want to carry again. Get edges/tips all completely blunted, and generally, when possible, we made our own, nad in steels, made for a veyr low RC, as didn't want it to hold an edge, but were very concerned about crackiing, as you then will have an edge at the break that can hurt an actor.

But of course the super Titanium GOncz wonder knife probably knows what material it's being pressed against, and will cut everything except human flesh. Kinda like those plastic scissors for kidnergarteners that'll only cut paper, not flesh. ;)

Any body wants to know, the story the Film, go and look it up in the 9-th Distruct Court under Goncz vs. Coralco, etc. presiding Jodge Hon. Hopp, Federal Judge and you can find out everything about the props...

Like I said....

Damn Goncz, can't you get into any buisiness venture without it going all wacko on ya'? Do you really think that will encourage anyone to do buisiness with you? Your other buisiness venture ends up in litigation and name calling, with a good dose of spite.

Seriously...

Do you think anyone will want to deal with you without a troup of lawyers on their side?

Does EVERY ONE of your projects end up getting settled by the courts??

Remind me not to start a buisiness with you, or to have any contact with you at all...

There was a Surefire L4 used on CSI: Miami tonight. Looks like Surefire is still one step ahead of Gonzo. At least they have a verifiable light being used in Hollywood... ;)

i think he might mean the Honorable JUDGE HARRY L. HUPP of the Central District of California U.S.D.C.
if any one lives in Los Angeles they can go to the clerks office and request information (for a fee).
