Etp777, the objective comparison tests you propose have already been done, by a number of members of the forums independantly. Search Bladeforums, CPF, etc. and you'll find them.

Some Quick Cleaning!

Whistler, you made your statements and your slinging etc.

Just state the fact: You like the light keep it and we will work with you . If not ship the items back and we will refund you the money as I stated above, and we are even...

My time is much more valuable than to biker about one order...

The reason I am stating the facts as they are available to inform the persons that are interested in the products.

Again the only valid comets are from the persons that have the light and expressing they opinion. Any other opinion is worthless 'garbage' and has no value, that is also noticed by others and in private E mails they are cathagorized as ...and remains private...

Some guys posting etc. are justlike the 'Blechtrommel' v. Brecht.

Anybody is not believing the output is fine with Us...previously I stated the facts and that all.

Somebody still sceptical put $25k on the rable and we will match it and who is right takes it all...

And now I am going to sleep!!!!

Goncz

Without an independent source giving actual lumen output vs. stated all you've provided are assertions. Not fact.

When prospective buyers look at your lumen ratings they assume actual measurement. And not calculated out bulb manufacturer ratings.

If you can't afford independent testing right now, lux ratings can substitute. For a while. Those can be verified by anyone.

I know that Cougar, buthe refuses to accept any of the results, claiming that the batteries might have affected it or other things. that's why I said send it to someone unbiased, new batteries and new bulbs, etc, so there can be no complaints, and we can just have an unbiased comparison. Trying to give Mr. Goncz the benefit of the doubt, that he may be right, taht these tests weren't completely fair.

More benefit of doubt?

:p

The pic Klaus posted was from a comparision made by two (highly regarded) CPF members, Mr Ted Bear, (yes the same...) and Kenshiro...
I highly doubt they purposely bashed Johns lights.

He just doesn't seem to grasp the difference between calculated and actual output... :(

His neglecting my reply to his (rather rude) comments on my work also speaks volumes about him (at least for me...) He just misses the point every time...

Those pictures where done by a reliable unbiased source. They clearly showed that the output claims made were a total joke and not only that but they deified the laws of physics with the runtimes that where being claimed. This person has continued to show through his posts and actions that anyone sending him money is very brave or has plenty of money to waste. The fact remains if you want good products backed by good people with good warrantees go see Arc, Surefire or Streamlight.

Dear Mr Goncz,

several times I tried to get my money back. By mail and fax. And on the phone, within one week you would send the stuff or you would give me my money back. Since you don't reply to mails or fax this was never an option. Weeks passed without any reaction.

Because you refuse to answer my mails (and those of Bart and those of Bernhard...) I have to adres you in public about these matters.

I would like to send back the lights. But I don't dare it. Waiting for 8 month to get a (defective!) charger -and this only because of the very kind interference of Mr Ted Bear- gives me not the feeling that I ever would see my money after sending the lights. If you let me know where to send my calculation of the amount I will send it to you right away. If you make over the money I will send you the flashlights as soon as I got the money. If you don't trust me (no reason for that- I payed DIRECTLY) I could send the stuff first to Mr Ted Bear. Assuming he is willing to help! Sounds fair to me.

I don't understand why you are so rude. I always respected you and had patience with you. As said before, how would you feel, as a customer, treated like this?

:(
My time is much more valuable than to biker about one order...
I would call that lack of customer service...

I'm looking forward to Code3's EDC results.
Is there any guestimate of timeframe for the testing?
Tom

In a concentrated beam you can have more lumen than in a larger beam, but that is above your understanding.
The above is a quote from John...

Completely wrong. And he is a manufacturer? It dosen't matter how big the beam is or how it is shaped coming out of the light. Dosen't matter if it is a 1 inch reflector or a 4 inch reflector. Lumens are the TOTAL amount of light output. What he is describing above is Candlepower.

Second, why can he not type a gramatically correct sentence? I'm not talking about spelling, but grammar. Can anyone really read what he is saying? His native language may not be English, but please???

I'm done.

English is not an easy language to pick up, particularly if you natively speak one of the non romance languages(such as German). We have some strange quirks to grammar, which sure make sense to me growing up in US, but which don't really match grammar of any other language out there. I've noticed this a lot as I've taken time to learn other languages.

As soon as John sends me a M-2.

The M-3 I currently have is too long for me to EDC, as well as test properly.

I'm also waiting on zenon bulbs, so I can test the lights accurately.

I attempted to obtain lamps locally, but to no avail, and Carley wants a $50 minimum order, which I'm not willing to do.

When someone has been show the truth, and refuses to see it.......

there is nothing to do but to leave them in their self imposed darkness.........

SUREFIRE RULES!!!!!! :D

Whistler and I are both native Dutch, and we seem to be able to write reasonably well understandable English as well...

Actually English is one of the easier languages. ;)

Thank you Bart! I knew that something wasn't right there. Hopefully, he will be able to clean up things. To John: Please consider having someone else take care of your marketing!!! You are obviously brilliant, however...need I say more?

Give Carley Lamps a call. I believe they lifted their minimum order.

Email I got from them on the 10th shows the $50 minimum.

Email was from Gricelda.

If you know someone else I could contact, please let me know.

I would try giving them a call. Unless they have reinstututed the $50 min. You should be able to order what ever you want.

Sorry for Double posting. I just remembered to call Patti at Carley She has done a lot of work with Lemlux over on CPF. Tell her that you heard about her from CPF. She is actually a registered member over there "Lampgirl" She RARELY posts however.
