As mentioned. The coating does look way thick.
I'd be glad to take that ugly tattoo'ed TG off your hands for half price. :D
I sure hope the black coating is not that thick on the V8 for the guys who ordered black.

What was there like 1200 of these sold? And all done within same 4 month build timeframe as 200 piece blades... something was bound to slip i guess. I'm sure an email to amy might get things sorted out, atleast I'd hope so. If anyone has the best warranty and qc coverage it'd be busse but sometimes as the saying goes, shit happens.

That makes it worth more duh thicker coating very desirable rare prized by collectors etc.

Mine's coated in black and not very legible either. The black coating is very thick on this blade, I was actually able to scrape some excess off with my fingernail torwards the tip.

No worries my friends. Our YAG laser blew a valve and it turned out that we could only get the part from England. So, we enlisted the use of a fiber optic laser in the meantime which has the ability to burn logos in different colors depending on the frequency. The logo is burned into the steel but it is black instead of the usual goldish silver. It literally is a "Stealth Logo". I think they came out pretty cool. Kind of like a "Blackout" treatment on a sports car or wicked cool pickup truck.

The black logoed ones are very rare as not many were marked that way.:eek::thumbsup::thumbsup::cool::cool:

Never anything to worry about because we'll take care of you no matter what. . . .:cool:

Let's Drink!

I was right about stealth logo!

dunno ups has been worse than post office lately. loosing shit, massive delays. mines been delayed for days now because of severe weather.. package is still sitting 55miles away and hasn't rained, snowed or sleeted in a month. what's considered severe weather, a bird dropping a deuce on their windshield ?

I got mine today. Very happy. Heavy Bastid. Been slicing paper all night since. sharpest Busse I’ve got in a long time. Like a razor. My logo came out legible and gold in color . Looks like it’s stamped onto the surface of coating Rather than like other blades that have had the logo go deep into coating to steel depth. A85F7495-D44A-4FEC-89D1-DB64DFC7EC0E.jpeg

I can’t be sure, because the full blade isn’t pictured, but to me it looks like the handle and lower portion of the blade are a lot darker than the above portion of the blade?!:p
