I don't think there was anything wrong in VTW being concerned about his knives, being that it had been over five months since he sent them out. There was certainly no need for him to exagerate the value of the knives, or the length of time they had been gone. Overall, this could have been handled better by both parties, but I won't hold it against either of them.

5 months, 7 months...

5K or more likely 7 K....

27 pounds, or 11 pounds....

Hey, but who's counting?

I want my knives back NOW! Oh, wait. I only want them back if you send them through FED-EX.

Then, after he gets them, he doesn't have the courtesy to say hey "I got them" its more of the same drama-"there is a reason I wanted FED-EX" and "I'm not getting into this"

Reminds me of some of the bitches I've dated.

You're right, VTW did go about this in the wrong way, but I understand his frustration.

I understand his frustration in all this. The SEVERE lack of communication could and SHOULD have been better on both our parts. More updates from me and if Chris wanted them back at any point, he could have just said so. Chris's "take your time" and my loose translation of it should have at least resulted in monthly emails from my end, but there was never a break in communication where I did not respond to anything he sent. The only time I did not respond to him was these last few days and that was just over the phone.

Chris is still a good guy with many great transactions here and I can empathize with him about not having his property in his possession for quite a few months, especially since the first sheaths I made for him were done within the week. This was a lesson learned for me and I wish Chris the best and wouldn't hesitate to deal with him, though I don't believe the thought would be reciprocated by him about me.

And again, Chris, If you don't feel you received the right knives or that I may have items belonging to you. Let me know.....call me or email if you don't want to continue this here. I don't like causing issues and would much rather have everything on the level with no lasting ill feelings or concerns.
