GRAYMAN SATU Folder!! A BEAST!!!

I recieved my Satu yesterday it is a beastly folder for sure. I like it and the edge on it looks kind of rough the way its ground but it shaves hair.
I think i'll leave it alone for now with its utility edge. I'll try to get some pics later in the week. Thanks for the pics and review Striderco much appreciated.

The more Satus in the world the better off we are!!

You own CRK's and an XM-18 if I'm not mistaken. What sells you so hard on this frame lock? It's clearly lacking, and falling far behind the other two in F&F, edge, "looks," and warranty.

Not trying to stir things up - this is an honest question. :)

I own a dozen CRK's, 4 XM's. I own many other "tough" knives as well. Graymans just seem to stand out in the crowd! Thats all!

Just received my ti-ti satu about 45 minutes ago. And from my first impression I don't see how anyone could hate on this knife. I could go on but you won't get if it you are comparing it to other knives that out cost it by hundreds of dollars.

Cziv have you ever held one? The opening action on this knife is buttery smooth. And it fills as tough as a railroad spike. Time will tell if it develops any blade play but as of now I feel like I got what I paid for.

Good score. Glad you like it!

Nice score got any pics, I seen where the Ti-Ti Satu has 3/16's Ti on both sides now. Its alot of knife for the money imho. I've got the Ti and g-10 Satu but am thinking about getting the Ti-Ti version as well. I like this folder its stout and well built and mine is getting smoother every day.
That toothy edge on mine shaves very well even though it looks like it would'nt.

My pictures do it no justice but here you go

I'll back this up! While I don't have a Satu, I do have the Dua and it is a great little knife that gets plenty of pocket time amongst the xm's, CRK's, etc.

Have the Mega Pounder Bowie(9 1/2") as well as the Satu and they are awesome. I've used the Satu already in taking out a 40,000 gallon pool and it just dove in and cut the snot out of things.....it was coated in green goo and looked even better than when it arrived....though it smelled a tad worse!! I love all Grayman products and can't rave about them enough. I know the Satu is big for edc but I'd rather have a big-assed blade and not need it than have a wimpy small blade and regret it!!

Their mega pounders are awesome!! Kind of have the feel of my ESEE 5! Tough knife! LOL I bet it took very good care of slicing up your old pool! Thats great!!

Roger that!! I'll take some pictures of the two diggin' into the project.....I already contacted the great people at Grayman and offered to send them pictures as well to show how well they work. While taking out a pool isn't as glamorous as taking on the Taliban, it's the best I can do at this point.....I'm just gettin' too old to re-enlist!!

My 2 cents on the matter is that I don't have $900.00 to a grand to drop on a folder knife.....probably wouldn't if I did. However, for the money, the Grayman knives are worth twice their weight in toughness and while I don't have a Hinderer to compare it to, I don't feel I'm missing out by not having that comparison.

I do have a few Hinderers. They are really nice and well built. I would kind of compare them to a fine German car like a Benz. Graymans knives may not look as pretty but I can guarantee they are just as tough as a Hinderer if not tougher! I ve said this before but I truly believe that Grayman is the best bang for your buck!

Well boys, it's time. I've had 2 CRK's, an SMF, ZT300 and too many other stuff to list. I can not wait to get this monster in my pocket. Sue has responded to all three of my emails within an hour. And other than a few random haters, it seems that everyone says this knife rocks! I'll post pics ASAP. Thanks for the thread Striderco. I will echo that we need more pictures!
