We have made the list of testers for these. There is a pretty even mix of forum members, you tubers, instagram folks, along with some locals who we know will use them. We are looking forward to getting them out and seeing what everyone thinks.
 
Wow! You guys rock! How did you decide who to pick? When do we get to find out what the steel is? I know... If you told me you'de have to kill me!

Keep pumping out good stuff! Dont forget to get out of the shop though! You guys need to take care of yourselves too, not just the customers!

That FDE looks awesome.
 
I gotta add that in these pics the point doesnt look as swiss army knife-ish as I thought... Now I might have to buy a 3V 4.7! My bank account is on life support already!

Google recently changed their coding for their photos, to get the proper URL for image-insertion, go to your Picasa Web Album (hosting site for Google-Photo): https://picasaweb.google.com/home

Can't get my earlier post to edit, but wanted to state that if you are logged into google, you are also logged into Picasa Web Albums, there you can find all your uploads with their proper URL for insertion here.

I'm still banking on 52100 or CruforgeV or W2. Looking forward to reviews from testers! :thumbup:
 
Chiral, I would bet my 5.1 you are gonna receive a surprise package. You literally influenced the design of the handle ergos! Your write ups are top notch reads with good photos and they're based on legit usage, not this "hard use" bs.

They already sent me one of the old-spec 4.1's with new finish and HT, and in a nice Sagewood sheath besides :eek: I was stunned. That was the knife I made the video review of and posted pics about.
I don't know if it was enough... I just don't have the media-penetration to give S!K what it deserves in return for a test knife. And it was too dark to take pics last week when I shot my buck of this season and field-dressed it with that knife :(
My plan is to offer that test knife+sheath for sale with proceeds going to Ellie herself (she mentioned school-loans a while back), but I kinda wanted to hang onto it until the new 4.1's arrive so I can offer some photos of my own to go along with the dirth that are sure to come from other proud owners :thumbup:

Whoever the lucky testers are, I am really looking forward to pics/videos and observations and offer to buy one of those test-knives if a user doesn't have time for it :thumbup: I have an FDE-coated SK4 in S7 steel from when those were on sale, it could use a big brother :cool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj_1lrnQIkA

I'm not sure many on BF would condone my throwing as "legit usage" ;) but it sure is fun!

Responsibility for the handle goes to Guy... otherwise I'm gonna get blamed when it totally sucks! :p

Yes! That was my first thought. I know it's not fashionably acceptable, but I think black and tan or the right brown looks great. Also, I tried to see my name in the binder, but not a good angle :p

I agree about the time off part :thumbup:

When I brought up that pass around I secretly thought they could send a blade to be passed around by several people OR just send it to Chiral for the same if not more indepth insight :)

And going off of Chiral's last post here, he is clearly a scholar AND gentleman.

And how awesome is it that they are sending testers to regular people, not just the YouTube Famous folks.
 
Those look insane!!! I love that coating.

I been wanting to see the coatings come back. Is there any other colors?

Looking closer, I see that those gray blades are 5.1s! They have a divot/hole drilled in them near the lanyard hole. Not in the same spot as the 4.7s though... Could there be gray ceracoated 5.1 Mystery blades in there too? Or are they just 20CV 5.1s?
