Gso-4.7

Forget the 4.1 :)
What are your thoughts on your 5's? You may have noticed I absolutely love my 5. My fear is that when I get my 4.7 it will bump out my beloved 5. I really like the blade height of the 5 and I know the 4.7's change in blade dimensions are only smaller by fractions of an inch. The new handle really has me excited, though!

We should start seeing handles and sheaths for these soon. The plan is to get out as many preordered GSO-4.7s as possible before Christmas. Regular ordering probably won't open up until Jan.

Thanks, Ellie. I'm super excited to adopt the 4.7 into my family... And I'm not passing it around. This one is mine.

I haven't used the 5's much. One is completely unused, and the other just came into my family less than 2 months ago. I've been hunting twice, but I try to go out light and come back heavy. The 4.1 is always in my pack, and the 3.5 is on my hip when I hunt. I got the 5's primarily because they stopped making them. The new handle scales and length really appeal to me.

Does that^ send you guys to a picture? I have no idea why the insert image thing used to work but doesn't anymore....

Anyway, that is a picture of the super secret steel GSO-4.7 samples that will be getting sent out once we have handles and sheaths for them.

Wow! Either coating or IT rusted real fast. ;) Could it be the future of the SK line??
