I got everyone's giveaway knives parceled up to go (it's quite a big job with all the customs stickers and everything), but I'm afraid I forgot to include the card I'd written out for you JoseI'm very sorry about that

I also forgot to include a Yorkshire ballpoint I had set aside for JoshuaMy apologies, I'll get you next time
It will be all steel construction Jose, vintage Sambar covers like this, but with a proper (longer) Barlow bolster with the A.Wright 'candelabra' stamp

Looks like you're doing some maintenance my friend, I need to find time for a sharpening session, I just noticed Lucy is feeling a bit 'toothy'!![]()

That's GREAT to hearI've got everything crossed on this one OG, really pushing the envelope with Wright's![]()
Is that Ashley Harrison? I keep seeing his stuff on Instagram and I'm assuming he works with/at A. Wright's place. Also looks like some of his stuff goes though Oakedge too, strangely. That's GREAT to hearCan't let Ashley become to complacent after all
You keep pitchin' and he keeps hittin' 'em outta the park
Don't have a clue about a possible debut date and I'm gettin' anxious already![]()
SAME!Sitting here, trying not to get too excited about the upcoming barlow. It's not working all that well though...![]()
No worries, mate! A big un' horn is more than I deserve anyhow. And my, my, my a lambsfoot barlow sounds brilliant! You keep hitting home runs with all of these runs, my friend!
I can't wait to see those stamped bolsters Jack!

Nice patina! I've got to cut up some limes next Happy Hour to keep up with yours!
Very interesting posting Chin. Did not know that you were into making Walking Sticks . Quite a variety of Breeds in your Lambfoot Flock . It is always great to see your Lambshank .Thanks mate, it’s good to hear the Frostfoot’s coming in handy.
I did use and carry the Lambshank for a few months after it was made, but I haven’t used it that much lately - partly because I still need to get a custom pocket sheath made up for it.
You did prompt me to use it to put a rustic whittled pattern on some makeshift European Ash walking sticks, which I’d previously been using my ol’ ebony user Lambsfoot on.

This one’s some sort of eucalypt though:

I had an enjoyable May Day, a quiet one though - I hope you all had a good one.
I’m constantly amazed at the high quality of photos here - all of them full of the character of the photographer.
There seems to have been a particularly great run of Lambsfoot knives and pics lately, but I’m always thinking that!
Here’s my current flock o’ Lambs:

I've got a nice set of Lambsfoot knives: large rosewood, medium horn and ironwood, small stag, so I don't know how I can justify another.......

Apologies for my sudden departure last night, I recently got a new ISP, using mobile wireless broadband, supposed to be faster than Steve McQueen, but it's even worse than my previous set-upBecause of the holiday here, I've not been able to go back to the store and harangue them (nor will I be able to today)
I went to bed, but then didn't manage to get to sleep until after 3.00am
At least I had an interesting book to read
I heard Martin Scorsese reference this tome as research material (along with the eponymous book) for Gangs of New York. Has anyone else read it? I'm off to the post office when they open to mail off all the giveaway prizes, then have to come back home as I'm having some furniture delivered. Hope everyone has a good day, I'm carrying my Guardians Lambsfoot from 2017
