Good photo, nice knife and good appetite Jack!:)

Thank you Jose :)

Thank you Jack. That looks like a great start to your weekend. I hope your Friday turns out to be a leisure one my friend. Have a great weekend.

It was Dwight, those blueberry croissants are delicious :) Thank you, you too my friend :)

That's a rosewood big'un, right? It seems the Hartshead is a heavier knife than I've been imagining.

That makes sense, especially if you're having something spicy.

I think I'll make a pot of chili con frijoles this Sunday. (You see, @5K Qs , Chili con carne is peppers with meat. Chili con carne con frijoles is peppers & meat with beans. So as a Texan, I can make chili the way I like it (with pinto beans) I just have to call it by the right nombre. :p

While waiting for my Barlow, I'll carry some horn:

I don't think it's anymore heavy than any other Barlow Rachel, but it does have more heft than the standard Wright's Lambsfoot knives with their brass liners and nickel silver bolsters. You'll see :)

I do enjoy the ongoing cross-thread chilli debate! :D Nice pic there Rachel

Looks like a great treat.
I wonder if the local merchants talk about Jack Black, the man with a knife and a camera. :D

Hopefully not John! I try to be discreet, with the ways things are here, I don't want to be Jack Black who gets exercise once a day, and has to sew mail-bags! :D

Good Morning one and all! Hope you Friday is/was a bright solstice! I'm in a hurry to get out the door so I hope you'll pardon me if I simply say wonderful pics by everyone. I especially enjoyed the ones of the Hartsheads.

Thanks for the tunes OG

I went for nachos at a local Mexican place, but they've changed their Friday opening hours, so I had to settle for peanuts and a pint

He said it's an old monastery in the park.
And now that you've had me talking so much, I have to include some Lambsfoot content. ;) Pile side...
Looking good John! :)

Very nice Vince! :)

Thanks, Ron. :) I'm glad what you say is true, since I usually don't know if I'm coming or going.
Gary I sort of suspected that! :p  :D

I got my package from Jack yesterday evening around 8pm when I finally got home from an unbelievably tough and long day helping my brother and niece. As usual Jack had taken the time to securely package the knives to ensure a safe arrival. Thanks Jack! I haven’t taken any glamour photos of my Barlow’s yet, but I did take this one quick photo. I have spent some time this morning flushing and inspecting. Maybe I’ll get some photos in the evening light. It appears that some of the Stag examples have nicely matched scales as to thickness. Congrats to all who have received their Barlow’s. :)
