Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I didn't realise you had double-deckers across the pond at all. Off-hand, I don't recall having seen them anywhere outside Britain and Ireland
The town of Davis bought them from England and had them shipped over.

Cabela's :) I'd never heard of them before
Cabels's is one of my favorite stores. Outdoor products (guns, knives, camping, fishing) and their Cabela's branded stuff is top notch.

Happy Friday to all!

Great stuff :) I know a lot went to African countries too, they are reliable vehicles, and relatively easy to maintain I guess

Sounds great :)

Mild & Bitter was common in West Yorkshire. I always thought a 'Boilermaker' was a cocktail too! :D

On the trip I mentioned, we got escorted across Morecambe Sands by the Queen's Guide :) Great pic Davvid, and very topical of course :) Hope work isn't too punishing my friend

Morning Guardians, it has taken me over two hours to get caught up here (and I'm still way behind elsewhere)! At least it's Friday eh? ;)

I've got to dash now, but I'm taking Miss Lucy out for lunch ;) Have a good day folks

Hope you and Lucy have a nice day as you continue to recover from your exhausting Thursday. Looks like decent weather.

@donn My goodness David that is a refreshing looking image. Cheers!

@dc50 Oh Dave I, too have been absent minded like that... more than once.;)

@Rusty1 Very Nice AC.

@WhittlinAway Hey Greg. A Starbucks brownie sounds good to me.

@Bigburly912 Welcome. Good info on the very first post of this sub forum. It will answer all your questions.

Thanks a lot Harvey, I can't believe how tired I still am, must be old age! :D Thanks for the video, I think we would call that a depth-charge here

I had a Scottish friend who was married in Sheffield, and a huge contingent came down from Glasgow for his wedding. Most of the fellers were asking for a 'Half an' a Half', which the bar staff failed to understand, giving them two half pints of bitter instead of a beer and a whisky. At the end of the night, all the tables were covered with undrunk half-pints! :D
At first I thought you were referring to the Scottish fellows!

I think my neighbours must have heard me laugh at that Vince! :D The Scottish fellers were definitely not undrunk! :D

I really enjoy the pictures of the Lambsfoot knives taken along with other hand tools.
At the heart of it all, isn't that what our knives really are? Tools? So, let's see them tools...

Cool pic John, and a great idea for a theme :)

Looks like that one has been getting some use David, how do you find the pattern?
It sees a fair bit of use Jack, it has quickly become one of my most carried knives. It just seems to hit the perfect balance between stoutness and finesse. I have 3 knives that get carried almost every day, but may not get posted.my GEC 44, one of my tl29 types, and the lambsfoot. The tl29's are the ones that I'll swap for a different pattern the most.
