Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Beautiful colors and textures in that flock Harvey. I love your collection of elderly lambs.

@Ramrodmb - Mark you are posting some fantastic photos!

Thank you for the kind remarks, Dwight.

A fine image. All your images are beyond fine. I just love how you captured the Damascus on your fabulous Dami Sambar Lamb. It really pops, especially the tip area. Nice job.

Y:eek:WZA, that's a sensational pic of your ironwood Guardians knife, FBC!:cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, FBC. :)
Your Hartshead Barlow is named Jake?? I think I must have missed the christening! ;)

FBC, is Old Black Betty originally from Vulcan?? Looks like she influenced you to hold her with sort of a low-key Vulcan greeting hand signal (which I only noticed when I saw the shadow on the ground). ;):thumbsup:

FBC, I'm getting the idea you have a severe Beetle infestation!:p:thumbsup: Nice rosewood HHB!
Thanks for all your clever and kind comments, Gary.
I don't think I officially stated that I named the rosewood HHB but the post with the Blues Brothers is when I decided that his name is Jake. :D

Awsome! Sone how that photo dosen't "bug" me!:D

Have a great weekend, all!
haha, thanks, Dennis. The horn on your Lambsfoot has some real nice feathering in it.

Thanks Kevin, I'm sure your 'google-foo' has given you more than you ever wanted to know about Lace Sensors and their connection to Fender. If not PM me.
Great picture...my '54 was like that in the mountains here, especially over 8,000 feet above sea level...I can just feel her gasping and shuttering going uphill;)
Peston, those Lace pickups are pretty interesting. Their AlumaTone pickups caught my attention, for sure.
I know what you mean about old VW's in the hills. I had a 67 Westy with a 1600 that let me know its disapproval of going up hill. Here's a model of another "flat" motor with a little more HP than the 1600 that was in my Westy. :D

Thanks for the kind words guys, I'm hoping I'll be fully rested, recuperated, and rejuvenated by the end of the year ;)
Juuust long enough to forget how much work it was. ;):D
Cool pic Kevin :D
Thanks Jack, I have been having fun with the Lamb pics lately.

Charlie @waynorth , I cannot wait to see all of the amazing versions of the Lambsfoot that you will create in the future!

You almost got me with those pics, Greg.

Another fine pic Kevin.
Thanks, Dave. I have been enjoying your pics too. I had no idea that your wife did the paintings.

On the side...I love taking photos of flowers :) I don't normally mix them with knives but this one is well done! Is that Ironwood or Cocobolo?

Morning all!
I'll catch up later, just a quick apology to John @JohnDF, I seem to have problems with names lately, and also Taylor tmd_87 tmd_87 , when quoting them this week! I may have to quit doing this on my phone and use the laptop. Sorry, guys! :(

More Big 'Un today

Whatever you are working on there looks super cool...is that for a plane or car?

Hope everyone has a great weekend :thumbsup::thumbsup:

flatblackcapo, Another neat "miniature" Lambfoot picture, but I still enjoyed the one with the knife lashed down to the roof of the V.W. the most. :)
waverave, nice group shots.

My son and I were out bow shooting this morning. Nothing wrong with a compound bow, but we both prefer long and recurve bows, as we do traditional knives...
The Hartshead shown sitting on the arrow rest belongs to my son, who also counts Jack as a good friend.

That is a really nice group of Lambs you got theere , Darren.
That motor is out of a 1/12 scale Ferrari 312T kit by Tamiya that I started building about 15 years ago. I'll get that thing finished one of these days, haha.

I'm totin' this little workhorse today.

I was fourteen before I could carry a loaded gun hunting. I'm just making up for lost time!:D
IMG_1279.JPG

On the top is a Western Field Model M150A, .410 ga, bolt action...kicks like a mule. Dad cut the stock shorter for us.
Next is my treasure. His side by side 20 ga Lefever Nitro'Special.
Bottom one is the .22 Stevens, no model number, no serial number. Not sure how old it is but it's old enough to be legal without a SN.
Very nice, Preston!! Love the old guns! Glad you got some great heirlooms in the family!
Bet the .410 still a great snake gun!
My dad was strict about gun safety as well, but we always went out shooting and made it enjoyable.
Thanks for posting those!:cool::thumbsup:
Good Evening Guardians
A very gorgeous shot, John!:thumbsup: A great WCLF!
The horn on your Lambsfoot is so beautiful.
Thank you much, Harvey!

Starting the day with a standard Lamb and a standard coffee in a standard mug. Sometimes the basics are just perfect :D
Just perfect is applicable! Going back to the KISS frame of mind!:)
Good morning folks! Still loving my Waynorth Ebony. My EDC the past couple weeks ...

Grand photo, Mark!:eek::thumbsup:

Good Morning Guardians.
Hopefully life will slow down soon and I'll have more time to devote here.
Does that ever happen?
Nice photo till then, John!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I mainly only use the phone to read this thread, so I don't get too far behind. I can't imagine multi-quoting on it.
Guess I'm use to it, I guess it's easier than dragging out the laptop.
You have a great one there Dennis. I wish GEC had not sworn off horn knives! They are so beautiful.
Thank you very much, Leslie! I agree, all these lambsfeet can't be wrong!:thumbsup:
Beautiful shots!:thumbsup: Also love the blanket?!:thumbsup:
Bonjour, mes amis!

Great herd photo! A horn version would fit nicely!:thumbsup:
Unlike @r8shell who keeps her agave in the ground, I prefer to keep my agave in a bottle.

:D:thumbsup:
Got some Hornitos looking at me now!
Today's harvest and helper:

nOj5WW4h.jpg

First Padrón peppers and strawberries of the season. As for the Barlow, today was not its first rodeo. ;)

And a little Ironwood for this afternoon/evening...

Wow, I'd forgotten what vibrant horn you have on your 2017 Guardians buffalo lambsfoot, Greg!!:thumbsup::cool: Is that pic taken at "your spot" on the way to work?

Thanks, GT. And, yup, that's that spot! :)

I'm glad to see that Black Jack was able to spend some time kicking back in the trees.

THE great kitchen aid!!;) Looks like your HHB is getting some good exercise!

And a little Ironwood for this afternoon/evening...

It is indeed. :)

Nice shot of your ironwood. That's quite a bundle of twine it's perched on. :)

Thank you my friend.
