Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

ATTENTION all my British friends of the "Lambfoot". Was just pottering on youtube looking for something on sharpening when i came across a clip for Lancanshire Potato & Onion Butter Pie. I have never heard of this delicacy before, but boy does it look any good. Can any of my friends from the Isles give me a report.:p:p:p.

Many thanks for your efforts my friend, that's great news :) Glad to hear the lad is OK :)
Thanks very much for thinking of me Jack and Leon.

Apologies for my recent absence, I’ve just been busy with the usual round of year end social engagements, a lot of work, and a string of overseas guests to show around.

I hope to have more time to check in soon.

Rest assured, a Lambsfoot knife is always with me though.

Here’s the bigun which Jack kindly gifted me, which I contoured after seeing John’s work on Skoll.

I don’t know about Potato and Onion Butter Pie, but I can certainly vouch for Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie!:thumbsup:

Thanks mate, it was good to chat to you.:)

It looks amazing! :cool::thumbsup:

Thanks for the inspiration to do it John. It’s very comfortable in hand.

@CelloDan - I’m afraid to try your trick with the custom birdfeed in case the birds take my Lambsfoot away with them!

I like you had the same dentist for 30 years, when he retired i was lucky, he put me on to a dentist that he had really high regard for. Sometimes you are just lucky.

Good move Leon :) Mine wasn't able to recommend anyone, and as I had moved from Sheffield to Leeds nearly 20 years before, I don't think I'd have been able to get another Sheffield dentist :(

In the United States, it is celebrated, primarily, by Scottish Heritage Societies. I had haggis when I visited Edinburgh. My major memory is a mixture of oatmeal and mince meat with a very strong flavor of pepper.

I thought that might be the case :) That isn't a bad description

I've not heard of it either, but I dare say our resident Lancastrian @donn may have :) By coincidence I've just bought a couple of cheese and onion pasties

Glad to hear you're well Chin, hope you've had some interesting visits :) Your Big 'Un is looking good my friend :)

Howdy Guardians! I thought I'd pop in for a spell and make the rounds. Still only one lamb in my stall, but it's just right:

Tasty pic Chin :) Mmmmm :) I've just had some of my favourite Vietnamese Pho, the first time I've been able to get it since before Christmas. I was down there at 11.00am! :D Yeah, those birds of yours might well pinch your Lambsfoot! :D

Impressive!

That looks exciting Kevin, nice one  Thanks pal :)

I received this book as a Christmas gift from Geoff Tweedale :) Some great pics of Stan and his work

It is a really cool place to work. I don't want to give the wrong impression, I'm just a grunt. Maybe one day they will let me test drive the rocket. ;):p:D

A pic of Betty from back in the day.

Kevin, I'm really glad you've found a good place to work, makes a huge difference, bearing in mind the amount of time most folks spend there :) Good to see Betty

Looks just like the California coastline in the Winter.

But that's Yorkshire in the SUMMER! :D ;)

Thank you, Jack. :)

The stag and your bread match nicely.:thumbsup:

Thank you my friend, I always try to buy bread which matches my Lambsfoot :D ;)

I was so busy lollygagging in one of the other threads that I nearly burned my pie! Turned out just right though :)

It's Wednesday evening here, and I am just getting my stuff ready to go out early tomorrow, and help my pal out on the market. Just had another straight-razor shave, which, while I don't think is any closer than a shave with one of my DE razors, is quite a satisfying experience. I'm having a glass of rum, and I'll be having in an early night. Not quite this early though, since it's not long after 7.30pm here ;) I may not get a chance to post until tomorrow evening though, so have a good day everyone, and love those Lambsfootses ;)
