Beautiful HHB! I regret being to late to the lambsfoot pattern to score a rosewood Barlow. At least I am lucky enough to have a stag HHB. :)

Thank you for the well wishes. He's fine this morning, just can't go back for 24 hours after a fever. I'd be home today with the youngest anyway she isn't in school yet and it's my turn on the child care rotation.

There were only 21 made in Rosewood made Jon, and only 20 originally.

In fairness, they are trying to compete with the bigger chain just down the road that is famous for treating more employees worse. But I don't like the wait, I don't like seeing friendly faces thrown out as wolf meat, and on the rare occasions when I'm reduced to using the robo lane, it always manages to be gratuitously obnoxious.

We have one grocery store chain that pretty much dominates the market. They've always had a great reputation for quality, good prices, and treating their employees well. Unfortunately, they are pushing pretty hard on the self check, I often see only two or three of the twenty lanes actually open. On the other hand, they are also pushing some sort of we-shop-for-you app, that one can order food online to be picked up or delivered. So the store is full of "professional shoppers" :rolleyes: It seems that while Millennials will stand in line for hours to get into the most popular bars and restaurants, they hate shopping. o_O Okay, it's official, I need one of those canes, just to bang on the ground whilst I rant and grumble.

For anyone who thinks their ebony isn't dark enough, just add a little brisket and sausage grease. The pickles and onions are good for patina, too.

Thanks Harvey, it should be a very quick job, even if I've been waiting ten days for it :rolleyes:

I was thinking about carrying my AC tomorrow, but it needs a tickle on the stones, and I don't have time to see to it now. Maybe I'll have time tomorrow, if the dentist doesn't take too long :rolleyes: :thumbsup:

It snowed a good 8" last night. The wind was howling and the drifts are huge in some places on the property. I only shoveled the sidewalks and didn't plow any snow as another storm is coming and will dump another 8" or so tomorrow. Happy days!!!! After all that, I needed pleasant thoughts so I'm posting my picture of my "Big-un" with Buffalo Horn covers taken in the balmy sunshine with sea shells.
