Yes, it's the Hammer Pro from GZKNice Dan, is that one on the right a Chinese model?![]()
What? I'm shocked.I'll be starting off with my Hartshead Barlow
That's the price you pay for living in God's Country. It snowed a good 8" last night. The wind was howling and the drifts are huge in some places on the property. I only shoveled the sidewalks and didn't plow any snow as another storm is coming and will dump another 8" or so tomorrow. Happy days!!!!
Beautiful pics of the lambfoot and scenery! Yes mine is TTF, I seem to shoot a lot more accurate TTF. I love the fiber optics on the GZK slingshots.Yes, it's the Hammer Pro from GZK
Mine is OTT, I believe Jon it's the same but TTF.
Today I find myself reminiscing about our wonderful trip to Prince Edward Island !

I remember that one. Such a cool blade!

After all that, I needed pleasant thoughts so I'm posting my picture of my "Big-un" with Buffalo Horn covers taken in the balmy sunshine with sea shells.

My pleasure, of course! And grateful that you allowed me to acquire it, Joshua.
I'm glad you're pleased with it after all your careful work MarkIt's supposed to be musical-grade ebony from a bagpipe maker Mark. I was told it would be jet-black, but was disappointed with the wood on most of the knives. I dare say it will darken with use and/or the application of some oil though. Blade-centring is something I have always insisted upon with Wright's, and as you say, it's very easy to get right, or to correct if necessary, the sort of task an experienced cutler could probably do in a minute. The mistake I made with these was accepting they had already been thoroughly checked when I picked them up from the factory, having thought I'd built up that sort of trust, as I think I had with the previous administration, but in that regard QC is the least of it
It's good to hear your observations and thoughts on it Mark, and that's a great pic
Have a fantastic Sunday my friend

Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Cheers to you and the hard to come by Stingo. Fine assortment of images. I think of robotic automation as unavoidable as the Industrial Revolution. Whole swathes of the population will need to figure out how to survive. We’ll(or you all) will see how accurate the prognostication for new job creation is. Heaven help us. And that’s not even taking the Sigularity into account.

@r8shell - Thank you Rachel. It was perfect. I’ve always admired your Ebony Big ún.
Ramrodmb - Thank you Mark. Ari’s a trooper, an all weather companion. A bit of rain did nothing to dampen his spirit. Your pair of Lamb Foot Image is incredibly fine.
JohnDF - Very Happy to hear your Mother is all right. I hear you when you can’t be too careful at 97. In this instance, “All’s well that ends well.” Your Ebony WCLF is as spectacular as the image.
@E40 - Looks like Linus is off to a fine start, Fred.
Good Afternoon Guardians.
