Thanks Jack, I'm very pleased with it. The mark side Ebony has some very light gray, almost white, tiny little streaks in it that make it appear lighter but still very attractive, IMO. The pile side is pretty dark and as you mention, a little time and use will further darken, I'm sure.
I had a fantastic Sunday, thanks and hope yours was just as good.

I fell asleep when I was having my three root canals done. I mean, they recline you, dim the lights, and play soft music. Who can stay awake?

Good Morning Guardians
I'm forced to post from my phone this morning. I wish I could reply to more of you but quoting takes much effort on my phone. I'm spending the morning in the Emergency Room with my Mom. She fell and bumped her head last night. She is fine and headed home soon. I'll try to post a picture later.

It was not anything serious, just a fall and a bump on the head. But at 97 years old they don't take chances and I don't blame them. We were only there for four hours, which is pretty quick for the ER. I'm glad I was there for her because she is very confused these days and having me there was a good anchor for her. I'm definitely going to need a nap later.

Glad she's ok,John! You have to worry about every little bump at that age. Glad you're close enough to take care of her!
