@donn Thank you David. I would enjoy sitting on the bench next to the remains of Flint Castle.

@Ramrodmb - Fantastic debut of Linus. Excellent images, Mark.

@5K Qs - Thank you kindly GT. As for pace, slow is preferred. Big fan of you Man Jack Senator.

I only make pancakes at home every couple of years, so I sometimes cock-up the first pancake o_O Today, the second was none too pretty either  It tasted good though, had it with some chocolate ice cream and my Drambuie sauce (maple syrup & Drambuie ;) ). Reckon I should be able to manage another shortly ;)

Thanks Harvey :) Indeed! It's great to learn about Paczki Day, there are quite a few Polish bakeries here, so I'll definitely be checking them out next year  Two excellent photos my friend :)

Yay Us!!!

Well there's four of us... So :D

When I was a kid, we had a squeeze of orange and a sprinkling of sugar, or Lyle's Golden Syrup, the former is still my favourite way to eat pancakes :) I did have some fancy pancakes last year though, with coconut ice cream, nuts, and mango sauce...

Delicious, but I could hardly taste the pancakes! :D I had chocolate ice cream on one tonight mainly because I want stuff like that out of my house before tomorrow! :D

Plain with golden syrup for me.

Mmmm....that's still the way my kids love them, even though they're not kids anymore. I find it a bit sweet myself these days though. Hope you enjoyed them Tim, great pic :)

Cheers Guardians ;)

Ice cream sounds really good right now, but I don't feel up to going out. :( I've got to start "studying" for an A1C (blood glucose) test coming up, so I'll do my best to give up sugar along with you.
Happy Paczki Day!

Very cool picture, Dennis. :cool::thumbsup:

Good Morning Guardians
Ebony Lambsfoot and a little Norwegian livestock bell...

Now that's proper history. I had an article on Billy the Kid years ago so I wonder if the town and mine was mentioned in that.
Very possibly.
Here's the "Wiki" article.

Here's another smidgen of history, and a cabin named after my great great grandfather, John Vincent Mitchell.

That's a great shot with those minerals. That quarry though sound like a lot in the UK; all mined out or unprofitable to continue.
Thank you, David. Yeah, they don't want to loose any profits!
Afternoon all. Another recycled shot.

Hey, did the photo of the tank match your model? Would love to see a pick of your diorama...
To my eyes it sure does look like my Dad’s M43. There will be a diorama. Just recharging my batteries. I ran the post of the non Lamb Foot knife with that incredible fob you created in another thread.

Dennis, a Veteran of the Gulf War, like my Dad(Battle of the Bulge). belonged to the legendary 3rd AD Spearhead group. He generously and kindly gifted me with 3rd AD Spearhead memorabilia. Big respect to all the Sheepdogs who keep us safe, while going into harm’s way. Much thanks and appreciation., Dennis.
