Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Many thanks, Dennis, my friend. That’s just such awesome image of your Stag Hartshead with all those swirly colors.

Always cool and interesting textures and colors in your backgrounds.:thumbsup:
Thank you both very much!
Didn't know if anyone picked up on what it was...?:)
And what did you blame before the meds? ;):D
Why, NOT having the meds!:D:thumbsup:
Sorry about that Dennis, Germany seems to have a lot of horse statues! I just realised that the one I posted a photo of hasn't been there since 1940  Thank you for the photo and further information :)
No apologies needed, there are a lot of horse statues! Didn't realize how many until you posted that link! Thanks for that!
LOL! :D When my mates kids were younger, I would deliberately buy them things like that which would annoy the heck out of him! :D
:D:thumbsup:
We bought our friends (maybe not anymore ) a couple of harmonicas...not sure we've been forgiven!:p
Delightfully dramatic photo Dennis

Hello Guardians! Doing a little target practice this evening. Can hit the matches at 33ft but haven’t got a successful strike yet. Anyone here accomplish a match light yet? @Crazy Canuck. It amazes me how Bill Hays makes it look so easy. Of course my lambsfoot is my good luck charm. :)

For lambsfoot content... Jack's slingshot before it crossed the pond ;)

Time I break down and join the fun!
No, that's what these are for.

Mine has already expressed her displeasure at being left on the night stand for the week... I'm going to be afraid to carry her again lest she bite me.:( I've already sustained one nasty one, I just hope she come around...View attachment 1298698Just for posterity...:D

Good evening, folks.

I hope everyone had a pleasant weekend and that your Monday has not been a dire portend of the week to come.

I was a little taken aback myself Dennis! :D I don't remember seeing many horse statues as a kid, the first time I read anything about them was in a Superman comic, funny I can still remember it  It was a story to do with time-travel, which always fascinated me :D

Wow! Great start to the day Ben :)

I've had one of my favorite knives close by today. A bit more weathered these days, but just as handsome and effective as always. The incomparable AC.

Nice to see your AC as part of that lovely composition Dylan :) THat looks like a tasty beverage :)

Morning Guardians, hope everyone's week got off to a good start :) Wet and windy here - again! o_O Roll on summer! Have a good day folks

Good afternoon!

I've been wanting to try this chili since Vince Prester John Prester John mentioned it a while back. Finally found it. Although I do prefer vitamin "F" pills in my chili :), this is all they had.

No beans means more meat!
Wolf Brand tastes alright, but it's too smooth-blended...more of a chili sauce than chili, in my opinion. My recommendation is to brown some ground beef and onions, then add the Wolf Brand to the pot. Beans if you like them, and peppers if you like it spicy. Then there's something to chew on.:thumbsup:

Homemade is WAY better than canned. But I prefer bite-sized chunks of beef rather than ground beef. Some of the best chili I ever had was made in a huge caldron in front of the Alamo on Texas Independence Day (March 2) during our Sesquicentennial year (1986). Beautiful sunny, cool day, plenty of Lone Star Beer, when it was still made in San Antonio and tasted good. (Current Lone Star is NOT the same. Tastes HORRIBLE!)

I like the chili at the Texas Chili Parlour in Austin.

Sounds like a plan! Will try it. Sorta like adding the taco sauce to the hamburger and onions that we do now. Thanks!

Yes, homemade is best, and the Chili Parlour makes some good stuff.
I'm just saying if you don't have time to make it the slow way, you can doctor up the canned stuff to make it better.:thumbsup:

One of the last:( CSC knives, in horn; made by Eric!!
I guess it's one of the last 300 or so! Too bad! I wonder what Eric is planning? He has a great skill set!!:thumbsup:View attachment 1298069 View attachment 1298070

Good morning Guardians
Recycled pic of the day... Birth photo of my WCLF. :)

Looking good John

The good old days...

Love the Ironwood Lamb Foot and T-shirt image, GT.
I liked the Big Lebowski take on What Condition my Condition Was In.
Sadly, I have no Julianne Moore lambsfoot pictures.

I'm afraid that vid wouldn't play for me Jer :( The song always reminds me of The Big Lebowski :D I was going to post a vid, but I'm not sure that dream sequence from the film is exactly family-friendly  I guess it depends upon the family :D ;)

Nice to see Old Toffee Wings

That sounds like a very memorable day Vince

Thanks Joshua! I don’t recall seeing an Ashley’s Choice with stag that I didn’t like! :)

Me neither Ron, overall I think it may have been the best we had from Wright's, the matching wasn't always the best, but the stag was really first rate
