Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That picture reminds me of Lady and The Tramp... :D:thumbsup:

Glad to see you've had your Sunday Sausage Sandwich.:thumbsup:

LOL! :D Thanks John, highlight of my week ;) Especially at the moment! :( :D

Good Morning Guardians
I switched back to my Rosewood Lamb late yesterday afternoon. I was so excited to get it back in my pocket again and start using it. Mike's Challenge really taught me that my favorite Carry Knives are my favorites for a reason, they make me smile and the blade shapes have proven themselves to be effective in most every situation. I especially like my Rosewood Lamb because it's slightly thinner and shorter than my other regular sized Lambs. It ends up being the perfect size and shape for pocket carry and in-hand comfort... and of course the blade shape. ;)

Rainy weekend here in Nor Cal.

Nice to read your observations John :) That's interesting that the blade is shorter

I sharpened and stropped my Challenge knife before putting it away, and thought I'd give my Hartshead Barlow a light stropping for good measure :)

Even funnier if you knew the guy, he went out to the Philippines with 3 other 'hippies'. They flew back, he thought he could get back cheaper overland
I have a friend that is pretty scruffy looking. When I met him about 40 years ago, he had a long, unkempt beard, but he has long ago shaved it off. However, I have rarely seen him clean-shaven. He shaves every few days, so always has stubble. (Seems like that's the fashion nowadays!) And he dresses like a homeless person. He lives in Austin (about 3 1/2 hours away), and used to come to Corpus Christi on a bus (doesn't own a vehicle) to stay with friends once in a while. A few years ago, my wife and I picked him up at the bus station, and took him to eat somewhere. It's a pub, I guess--more drinks than food sold. Nice casual place. Anyway, the circus was in town, performing nearby, and you could see the train the circus came in on from the windows of the restaurant. When we got to the restaurant, my wife had to go powder her nose or something, so my friend and I are seated at a booth when the waitress approaches. "Oh, you must be with the circus!", she says to us. Maybe I was a little scruffy myself that day!

Having my morning coffee

No Premier League right now, but I plan on making myself a martini this afternoon:

That's such a good looking rosewood lamb John. I agree about the size of those. I have a small rosewood swayback that would probably be one of my favorite knives, but it's really just not well put together so I've had some trouble bonding with it as much as I'd like. Been debating taking a chance with another, but not sure I want to risk the same result.

That looks good Matt, but it's a shame about the build quality, very bad QC I'm afraid :(

Great pics, Dan!

Thank you Vince ! :)

Great pics Dan, I hope the Trumpeter swan makes a comeback  Mute swans are common here, they can be very aggressive  :D Here's a pic from my walk last weekend, they're usually only seen in small groups though (in this case they are being fed)

Gracias Jack, it looks like we gave you the Canada goose in the 1600's and you guys send us some mute swans later lol :)
Today we took the same route on our walk but the swans had moved on already.

Pics from today
