Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I hope all of my fellow Guardians around the world are well and not affected by all that is happening in the world today! I’ve dropped my Rosewood Bigun in my pocket today and all is well for now! :)

A solid choice :) Stay safe my friend

Gracias Jack, it looks like we gave you the Canada goose in the 1600's and you guys send us some mute swans later lol :)
Today we took the same route on our walk but the swans had moved on already.

Couldn't find any vermouth....

At least you managed to find some gin Vince ;) Nice composition my friend

Thank you Jack. Also thank you for showing that cool label. Nothing like a Sunday with no agenda. I see you’re making fine use of your time this Sunday. Admiring your ivory lamb foot.

CelloDan CelloDan - Fine outdoor images of your Lamb Foot, Dan.

Prester John Prester John - Great image and beautiful lighting of your Martini and lighting, Vince.

Good Afternoon Guardians.

Thanks a lot Harvey, gorgeous Christopher Johnson, I could look at it all day  The 'Western' is 'Western Works', the name of the Johnson factory. Love that old timer, so cool

There's some incredible footage from the Western Works in 1928 here

I washed dishes, cooked, washed dishes, baked, washed dishes, and cooked. This has been with me all day.

Have you been kidnapped and pressed into involuntary servitude Dave?! ;) A beautiful-looking loaf to go with that great-looking Lambsfoot :)

Some beer and an American Made Lambsfoot! Hope you all are having a great weekend. D Dschal I may do some baking tomorrow. Mmmmm oatmeal cookies....

Cheers Taylor! :) Smashing pic

Morning Guardians, the start of a new week, and it may be a long one. Stay safe and take care of each other

Thanks, Jack. Gave up sweets and "hard" liquor (not beer & wine!) for Lent, but I generally relax the self-imposed discipline on Sundays (which are feast days). Picked up the bottles on a whim Saturday. Enough for one martini!

My mate, who is also having a month on the wagon (he hasn't given up sugar) was telling me that Vince. I thought he was pulling my leg! :D We were planning to go to the pub at the end of March, but chances are they're all going to be shut before then o_O

Got this recently. I love that it’s stainless but hate that it’s “imitation stag”. Maybe get a recover done?

I’m always checking in on the Guardians, but it’s feels great to post something.

Joe

Great to see you here Joe  Sheffield cutlers still call those scales Bexoid, the name of the original synthetic used, but they're just cheap hard plastic today. A great candidate for a recover in my opinion :) Here's an older TEW with Bexoid scales, carbon steel blades on this one

Wow! Very cool photos Dan!

Fine outdoor images of your Lamb Foot, Dan

hank you Dan. I really enjoyed your photos today.

LOL! :D Dan, those photos are amazing  :)

Thank you fellow Guardians.
Just when I think there can be no possible pictures left to take in the same old trails that we walk I stumble upon a little marvel like the ice effects and swirls that se saw yesterday :)
Maybe this summer we'll be able to navigate the Rideau Canal connecting Kingston to Ottawa, there is some very nice scenery specially during the first half if you start from Kingston. My lamb would be soo thrilled to explore it :)

That's annoying about the site, looks like you had an otherwise pleasant evening though my friend, great pic :)

You as well, Dylan!! Beautiful photo of your DamLamb!:thumbsup:

Thank you, fellas! I hope everyone is well - we are practically being give "shelter in place" orders. Very frustrating but hopefully this will all blow over soon and life can resume as usual.

I'm having a pleasant smoke this evening regardless.

Beautiful stag on that one, Dylan. Love the pipe. Just gave a similar looking one to my oldest son for his birthday. I think it's a Savinelli. I may take up pipe smoking again myself.

hope you're doing OK :) That's a great-looking chopping board, what a great gift  Nice to see that golden knife :)
Thank you for the kind comments, Jack! :)
Scott, the creator of the cutting board, does some incredible work, cutting boards and turning bowls.
And that's some smoooooth lookin' horn you have displayed. Love the end-grain board too -- super nice. Hope your back and ears get back in line muy pronto!
Thank you very much, mi hombre! I got a steak and a cake from the Mrs for the cutting board, so that was pretty good medicine!:thumbsup:
That’s a beautiful Horn example and the cutting board is very nice!
Thank you so very much, Ron, I appreciate it!:thumbsup:
Great image of your Horn LF. Your image background game is strong.
Thank you kindly, my friend! Just trying to keep up with some of you masters!;)
Have a great Sunday folks :)

(I buy my soap from the Yorkshire Soap Company ;) )

As Mike's giveaway is now over, I thought I'd treat myself, and have a Double Lambsfoot Day! :D ;)

We've moved to using bar soap again, buy it from a local health food place, no wrapper. It's so much better than the liquid soap, and I can even shave with it in the shower.
Absolutely Love the White Album umm Lambsfoot, mate!:thumbsup:
My Sunday Sausage Sandwich! ;)

Sunday Sausage Sandwich...Super! Great shot of your HHB!:thumbsup:
Rainy weekend here in Nor Cal.
Nice, John! Like a homecoming of sorts!
Mike's Challenge really taught me that my favorite Carry Knives are my favorites for a reason, they make me smile and the blade shapes have proven themselves to be effective in most every situation.
Well put my friend!:)
That's such a good looking rosewood lamb John. I agree about the size of those. I have a small rosewood swayback that would probably be one of my favorite knives, but it's really just not well put together so I've had some trouble bonding with it as much as I'd like. Been debating taking a chance with another, but not sure I want to risk the same result.

Shame about the quality, Matt, guess a good user. Lovin' the Fender background!

Same here Dylan :( Not sure how long it's going to last in this overcrowded country o_O Nice to see things are unchanged on your back-porch my friend, your AC is looking good :)

Such a great skill :) I have liquid soap too, but much prefer bar soap. The bars I buy are big and chunky, last for ages, all natural, and only lightly scented. And they're made in Yorkshire! :D Thanks pal :)

Another great photo, and is that a toggle for a leather bag or journal?
You be safe and keep healthy as well, buddy!:thumbsup:

Thanks Dennis :) Well spotted, it's a horn toggle on a leather belt pouch I bought recently, haven't used it yet. Thanks a lot my friend, you too, take care

Cool pic Dennis, I hope you had a good day :)

Morning Guardians, I hope that everyone is managing OK, on what is turning out to be a very unusual week. There must be some tears in Ireland today, as the pubs are closed for Saint Patrick's Day :( No drink for me anyway, for first time in a long time, but have a good one if you're celebrating, and good luck to all of us

Thanks Jack! :) I think the folks at Great Eastern Cutlery did a fantastic job on Charlie’s Lambs! I know I’m really proud to have one. Those Humbugs look good. I’ve never heard of that one. I may have to take a look and see what I can find. ;) Have a great day and please stay safe my friend! :)
