I don't know how well your lambsfoot knives have been finished but on a few of mine I have found that the pins, having been hammer peened over, were left with a sharp edge to them that occasionally snagged in my pocket and in my hand (ouch!

). These pins are mostly standing proud in the scales. I was concerned about using emory cloth or sand paper to smooth them out for fear of damaging the scales

. So I tried taking a small piece of old belt leather and hand worked the sharp edges smooth by just rubbing it against the sharp edges of the pins. Turned out to be pretty effective and no damage to the scales what-so-ever

. The belt leather pieces, however, got a little chewed up but it worked well
