Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you kindly, Jack. Enjoyed all the info regarding CJ WW. You also had a slew of great images of food, Hartshead, etc. It did make me sad with the SFOs with you at the helm, slowly becoming a distant memory. I think it was last year, that we were urging you to take a break. I could kick myself.:D

@mitch4ging - Thank you Dennis. I’m no master, but you can keep saying that I am.:D There’s too many on the Porch that make great images. Include yourself in the list.

Prester John Prester John - Hope your wife feels and gets better soon.

Good Afternoon Guardians. Keep Calm, etc.

Thanks, Harvey.

Killer stag, there.

Barrett btb01 btb01 was talking about builder's tea last week, it's basically the ordinary everyday tea that working-men drink, made with the tea-bag in a large mug, brewed until it's very strong, just a splash of milk, and a little sugar :D

Don’t mind if I do! ;) :D

At least the rain is keeping the pollen down...

Nice pic John

Thanks Harvey, it made me sad too, 5 years work down the drain, and no more Guardians knives, largely because of an act of dishonesty on the one hand, and selfishness on the other :( Had I known how suddenly things were going to come to an end, I'd have tried to squeeze in another SFO at the end of last year

Superb photo my friend, a work of art

Yeah, the HHB I have had a small issue that I tended to but the Bulldog was the worst. The other was one that I have subsequently sold (I think you know which one I am referring to but I did not want to mention any brands or names in my post.

What was the issue with your HHB, I wish you'd brought it to my attention. The Bulldog is for another thread

Cool photo!

Thanks

Don’t mind if I do! ;) :D

Looks like a great brew Barrett :D

Looking great my friend !!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, I'm glad I didn't scare anybody. ;)
Being on the "fuscular" side, I tend to scare some of my students. :D

Great pic, except for the jersey! :D:D:D
Thanks, there's another Seahawks jersey in the picture that I cropped out.
My fellow Math teacher is also a big Hawks fan, so we represent on Spirit weeks.:thumbsup:

I don't have many pictures of myself on my phone... I don't do selfies. :D
But I have this one, taken at work by a coworker. I may break the internet posting a picture of me...

Great pic John :)

Morning Guardians, quiet here, hope everyone is doing OK  Had a lot of fun with a couple of my slingshots yesterday :) Stay safe folks

Good morning Guardians! :) I’ve been up since 4:00 this morning. I fixed our breakfast and got Pam off to an early start. I’ve rolled the garbage out to the curb for today’s pickup. I’ve just finished taking the photos for my daily carry choices and drained my second cup of coffee. Now I’m reclined watching all the interesting things on the morning news. I’m spending time with my Wright’s standard size Ebony this morning. This is the one I won in Jack’s bad back GAW several years ago. It has some beautiful dark buttery smooth Ebony! Thanks again Jack! I hope y’all and your loved ones can stay safe and healthy! :)

Morning Ron, it sounds like you've been busy my friend  I have lots of household chores to do myself  That was one of the first batch of knives I had Wright's make up for me, they have some great ebony at that time :) I had forgotten about that giveaway Ron, but I sure appreciated all the kind words when I was laid low with sciatica for the first time

I was surprised to discover that I've lost ten pounds since February 14th, when I jumped on the bathroom scales this morning. No booze and cake, but my diet is otherwise much the same. Guess I didn't realise how heavy red wine is  ;) :D

Jack, the issue with the HHB was with the pin at the bare end of the knife. Had a sharp edge on it (both mark side and pile side scales) from peening during manufacture and I was able to smooth it without much trouble. I had seen this sort of thing with other knives so my thinking was that it was a common occurrence with knives and people just lived with it or fixed it themselves. I never really complained about it to anyone because I felt I might be too picky about such things...I am a bit obsessive-compulsive.:confused: Common issue with engineers. Thanks for your concern.

Been carrying my HHB all week and doing light duty with it (box opening, etc). I keep the blades wiped down with mineral oil and I've been keeping the knife looking new. I haven't sharpened it yet because it has held a very good edge ever since I acquired it.View attachment 1304827

Glad you're happy with it now

Good Morning Guardians
My WCLF with a few doodads. The blue fob was made by Dennis.:thumbsup:

Nice collection there John :) Dennis made me some paracord fobs too, and they are treasured possessions, as is this :)

Thanks Jack, it does have some top shelf Ebony on it. I guess staying busy helps keep our minds off the problems in the world. Congrats on the weight loss! Great photo of your Hartshead Stag my friend! :)

I remember seeing it for the first time, and thinking 'I must have some of that while it lasts'! Sadly, it didn't last too long :( I seem to have a lot of housework to do, I'd be quite happy not to be busy! :D Thanks pal, I'm really surprised, I usually really struggle to lose weight. I lost 30 pounds in quite a short period at the beginning of last year, but that involved a lot of effort  Thanks for the compliment Ron :)

That's very cool. :cool::thumbsup:

Thanks John, I thought so too :) Dennis is one heck of a guy
