Looks like you netted a Lambsfoot.:thumbsup:
Please tell me where I can go net some Wild Lambsfoot knives... ;)

Thanks Jack Black Jack Black just been very busy. Those of us who are non clinical at the hospital are working crazy too. Ball season lasted 2 weeks for the kids. My youngest is riding w/out training wheels, lots of time outside after work. My wife had to go take care of her mother for quite a few weeks, my 6 year old kept me busy then for sure! The past week we have been learning about schooling at home online, thankful my folks are helping with that! We are just adapting to a new lifestyle thankful and Blessed all of our family is healthy! Got my AC along for the ride every day, just can’t leave it behind! I will get new pics up soon

I just wanted to say hello to my Guardian brothers and sisters. Cherri and I are doing great. She has a woodworking shop and I am engaged in metal fabrication. These endeavors are for personal enjoyment only.:) From time to time I drop in and catch up on this thread. It always brings joy, peace and a smile. God's speed my friends and may you and your families remain safe and secure.fullsizeoutput_1f70.jpeg

Great to hear from you, Dwight. Ace pic.:thumbsup:
You stay safe too, my friend.

Beautiful stag on that one, Dylan. Love the pipe. Just gave a similar looking one to my oldest son for his birthday. I think it's a Savinelli. I may take up pipe smoking again myself.

Thank you, Vince! Savinelli makes a fine pipe, I have a couple. The one I have pictured is a Peterson and is one of my favorites.

I smoke more cigars these days but I always take great pleasure in my pipes, I can't recommend it more.

Nice to see things are unchanged on your back-porch my friend, your AC is looking good :)

Thank you, Jack. One of the pleasures of working from home - the view and ambience is never too far away.

Dwight! So good to see you, I'm very happy to hear you are well.

Immersed myself recently in an epic tale - I've nerded out quite a bit over this...

I want my funeral to be like Beowulf's.

Cool pic Dennis, I hope you had a good day :)
Thank you much, Jack!
Thanks Dennis! :) Great Ironwood my friend! I drink Pike Place quite often Dennis. I guess I wasn’t aware that was the location of their first store! :D
Thanks, Ron!:cool::thumbsup:
My son works for Delta and is living in Seattle (), and he brought us a set of those mugs. We do drink the Pike Place, but mostly the French Roast, sometimes the Veronna(sp?). I really got into the dark and strong coffee and beer while in Germany.
Great picture, that's a very cool mug.:thumbsup:
Thank you, kind sir!
Werther's... The official candy of grumpy old men... I love 'em.:thumbsup:
:D:thumbsup:

Good Morning Guardians
I plan to use my Spring Break to finally get my leather shop set up again.
Stunning work, Mr John! Can't wait to see some more of it, :) I will be picking your brain for tips!
Charlie, you always have great knives and great turquoise! Beautiful stuff, sir!:thumbsup:

Out grinding stumps on a wet and cruddy Tuesday... Got Rosie along with me!
That's a serious grind!:eek::D
Do you run into much burl or spalted hardwoods?
used it quite a bit to mark my templates for this latest build! Not a Fender, sort of a blend of influences, and set up like an esquire. Pictured here with a lamb that is properly put together!
Mr. Leo doesn't have anything on you, great looking Lambsfoot and a super looking guitar! What pickup do you have in it? I have a Yamaha with a P -90 in it, and I've grown kind of fond of the sound, but that's the only single pickup I have.
Thanks for the info on the etch. The centering is really not a big deal to me and I can put a new edge on there so all is good. Starting on my patina this morning. :)
Great shot of your lamb, looks like the patina is coming right along!:thumbsup:
Thanks Willie, I've just had some leek and potato soup :)

zpmGXCt.jpg
No one else said it, and it needs to be said...Jack, your bowl has a leek in it!:p I'm really sorry for that one my friend! Great shot of your treasured HHB!:)
Thank you Dennis. I’m no master, but you can keep saying that I am.:D

Good Afternoon Guardians. Keep Calm, etc.

Point of fact!
Counselor...I rest my case!
Beautiful photo, Harvey!;)
I don't have many pictures of myself on my phone... I don't do selfies. :D
But I have this one, taken at work by a coworker. I may break the internet posting a picture of me...
Well I see where your sons get their size! Look like you're ready to jump out on the field, John! You should get into Bulldogging! Looking good, hermano!
Had a lot of fun with a couple of my slingshots yesterday :) Stay safe folks

Groovy pocket of fun there, Jack! I like all three items there!;)
This is the one I won in Jack’s bad back GAW several years ago. It has some beautiful dark buttery smooth Ebony! Thanks again Jack! I hope y’all and your loved ones can stay safe and healthy! :)

Excellent Ebony, Ron, and well photographed!:)
Been carrying my HHB all week and doing light duty with it (box opening, etc). I keep the blades wiped down with mineral oil and I've been keeping the knife looking new. I haven't sharpened it yet because it has held a very good edge ever since I acquired it.View attachment 1304827

Certainly a keeper, Bill, looks great in the photo!:)
Good Morning Guardians
My WCLF with a few doodads. The blue fob was made by Dennis.:thumbsup:
Excellent photo, John, but you should whoop the 6 year old that fumbled the blue fob! love your compass, your WCLF of course, and the tooling is superb!:)
Thanks John, I thought so too :) Dennis is one heck of a guy

Indeed he is. :cool::thumbsup:
You guys must have been drinking too much, the guy is a real grumpy SOB!
Wooden Wednesday. Good morning, Guardians!

RijGBRy.jpg
A Wonderful Wooden Wednesday, Mike! Nice shot of your SO '18!
My favorite knife posing spot is getting a little overgrown...
A grand and peaceful image my friend!:thumbsup:
Nice photo John :) At least 2/3 of the vertical knife pics I take turn out to be out of focus! o_O

1IjCAqf.jpg
But I like it! It's all good!
You can have the knife in focus, or the background scenery, hardly ever both.
Mine are usually focused on my thumb!:(:thumbsup:
Well, here's some good news:
this the the LAST DAY of winter!
I4TS8zI.jpg
Wonderful end of winter photo, Vince!:thumbsup:
It's very surreal to say the least. My wife had a couple patients yesterday who are "rule outs" they were treating the patients as if they have the virus. She is amazing, has two more shifts until the 1st of April. She starts her new position at a different hospital.

Here's what I carried today!!
mvimg_20200318_131243-jpg.1305025
Best wishes to your wife and for you guys staying safe from the virus!
Nice user patina developed on your HHB, Taylor!
I’m taking more pictures of rocks and trees. Lambsfoot for protection from the squirrels.

Very cool setting and picture!:)
Hoping that an apple a day will keep the doctor away.
Nice photo, and I certainly hooe so!
Good Afternoon Guardians.

A Guardian is never forgotten Brent! :) Thank you so much for checking in with us, it's great hearing from you :)

But it’s a dry heat, right? :D

:D

98% humidity at the moment. It's always humid here, but I'll take that to the dry heat anytime. Experienced Yuma and Las Vegas in the summer. Thought I was gonna die!

I enjoyed your post Jack (as always) and I hope you stay safe too. I'm not exactly an "indoor" type so these times aren't very enjoyable for me. Getting some little projects out of the way for now and spending more time on the porch.
