98% humidity at the moment. It's always humid here, but I'll take that to the dry heat anytime. Experienced Yuma and Las Vegas in the summer. Thought I was gonna die!But it’s a dry heat, right?![]()
Beautiful stag on that one, Dylan. Love the pipe. Just gave a similar looking one to my oldest son for his birthday. I think it's a Savinelli. I may take up pipe smoking again myself.
Nice to see things are unchanged on your back-porch my friend, your AC is looking good![]()

Immersed myself recently in an epic tale - I've nerded out quite a bit over this...
I want my funeral to be like Beowulf's.Thank you, Vince! Savinelli makes a fine pipe, I have a couple. The one I have pictured is a Peterson and is one of my favorites.
I smoke more cigars these days but I always take great pleasure in my pipes, I can't recommend it more.
Thank you, Jack. One of the pleasures of working from home - the view and ambience is never too far away.
Dwight! So good to see you, I'm very happy to hear you are well.

Out grinding stumps on a wet and cruddy Tuesday... Got Rosie along with me!
Mr. Leo doesn't have anything on you, great looking Lambsfoot and a super looking guitar! What pickup do you have in it? I have a Yamaha with a P -90 in it, and I've grown kind of fond of the sound, but that's the only single pickup I have.used it quite a bit to mark my templates for this latest build! Not a Fender, sort of a blend of influences, and set up like an esquire. Pictured here with a lamb that is properly put together!
Great shot of your lamb, looks like the patina is coming right along!
No one else said it, and it needs to be said...Jack, your bowl has a leek in it!Thanks Willie, I've just had some leek and potato soup

Certainly a keeper, Bill, looks great in the photo!Been carrying my HHB all week and doing light duty with it (box opening, etc). I keep the blades wiped down with mineral oil and I've been keeping the knife looking new. I haven't sharpened it yet because it has held a very good edge ever since I acquired it.View attachment 1304827

ThanksJack Black just been very busy. Those of us who are non clinical at the hospital are working crazy too. Ball season lasted 2 weeks for the kids. My youngest is riding w/out training wheels, lots of time outside after work. My wife had to go take care of her mother for quite a few weeks, my 6 year old kept me busy then for sure! The past week we have been learning about schooling at home online, thankful my folks are helping with that! We are just adapting to a new lifestyle thankful and Blessed all of our family is healthy! Got my AC along for the ride every day, just can’t leave it behind! I will get new pics up soon
