Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks for the info Jack! :) I don't carry it often, it's so ugly! ;) Just kidding, it's a solid knife. Would be a great candidate for a recover job!

Ah, it doesn't look so bad Ron! :D But I agree, those knives are prime recover material :) I always wonder why folks bought them instead of the rosewood models, which are only a couple of pounds more expensive

Several bees kept trying to chase me away, but I was persistent. ;)

Good man! :D

Thanks! Always enjoy your posts.

Thank you very much Les, that's kind :)

I thought Vince Prester John Prester John had said something about winter being over a couples pages back

That fire trivet is a cunning.
Is that woman who didn't know her limits played by the woman who played Clemmie Churchill in The Crown?

Harriet Walter, that would be.

She also played Harriet Vane in the second Lord Peter Wimsey series.

Unless you want your alcohol in gel form

Never touch spirits. :D

The rest of the internet can go hang! :D

If it's run by the same eejits who run everything else it's guaranteed to.:rolleyes::thumbsdown:

Great pics David, I'm glad you were able to get a nice trip in before TEOTWAWKI! ;)

Aye so am I. Just seen the pubs/cafes/restaurants have formally been told to shut nationwide. :(:rolleyes:
I'm sort of isolating at the mo' so as I'm already bored I'll do a proper post re: Winchester, probably tomorrow.

Good morning Guardians! Stay safe out there! :)

Now that's none to shabby is it. :)

Well the western world is going to crap but at least the sun is shining.:) So as it looks like I'll be spending a lot of time in my back garden over the next few weeks/months/years/forever then I thought I'd oil the garden furniture.

(I am trying to learn how to talk like our chief Guardian :D )

I have just spent the last 25 minutes trawling YouTube trying to find a video to help you understand Yorkshire (language) Dan! :D I must have watched nearly 20 videos, or I watched a short part before realising they were rubbish! The pronunciation in this one isn't very good, but perhaps surprisingly, it's the best I could find! :D

Authentic Yorkshire-Sheffield accent :D

You're right, I thought I'd seen Greg posting elsewhere, but I think he was last here at the beginning of the year. Hope he's doing OK

Thanks for thinking of me! I’m still alive, kicking, and lambsfoot totin’!

I started a new job last fall and let my BF participation drop to essentially zero while I was in an intense learn-and-establish-myself phase. The job is going quite well and I’ve now settled in to a sustainable routine, but I have yet to re-establish regular participation here. I have been lurking a bit in the lounge the last couple of days, though, wondering how my BF friends are doing with all that’s been going on.

I’m living the shelter-in-place life now, but am healthy and my job is secure. It’s deeply troubling to me that not everyone can say the same. I am hoping for the best possible outcome, but bracing for the worst and trying to figure out how I can best help.

I can’t say when I’ll be a regular participant here again, but I do think of you all often and will be renewing my Gold Membership when it expires next week. In the meantime, please stay safe and let’s all look out for each other and our families, neighbors, and communities.

Well, I am pleased to say after my latest EDC Rotation my Hartshead is with ma a lot lately - still has a wee bit of s Stout pull- I dont mind this as I usually pinch it open anyway- its not the thinnest blade in the World- but a Blade you don't want to mess with with gorgeous Stag- I simply LOVE this Knife!

Great knife and a great read, Dylan!

My dad was a Peterson fan. I work mainly from home myself, the view is pleasant enough for the city, but it is not idyllic like yours my friend :) A truly great read Dylan, and a fantastic pic of your AC

Thank you, fellas!

It's been wonderful getting caught up today, seeing some very fine knives and seeing some cheerful faces. I'm a reserved, but not bashful, sort - though I might send the children scurrying and the adults reaching for their pitchforks...

I rarely take a selfie but my wife took this pic the other day and it's a pretty good representation of yours truly...

And to keep it knife related, I'm enjoying a fine Friday evening with a regular companion.
