Very nice John :)

Ha! His hand definitely makes the AC look like a Big'un, doesn't it.

Good day, Guardians! Hope everyone is still staying safe in these strange days!

Jelly with some Ele's today

Nice picture Matt, hope you're doing ok yourself

Thanks Jack things are going pretty good, work is crazy busy, 3M is one of our customers and we have been putting out product so they can produce large quantities of N95 face masks, keeping us going 24/7. Both my wife and I are deemed critical workers at our respective jobs so we try our hardest to social distance the best we can, we haven't seen our kids or grandkids in about 3 weeks now, just a needed precaution now a days. Hope all this mess starts to subside soon and the world can get back to normal.

sorry for going on.
Be Safe Everone.

Crazy times Chuck, things sure have changed a lot in the past month :( Stay safe

A big THANKS Chuck for your work during this crisis

Wascally Wabbit. ;)

:p

It's my favourite whisky Les, so a nice present :) Yes, I think I will be OK for a bit ;) I always find that when I stop drinking for a while, even just a few weeks, it takes me a while to get warmed up again, but I might have a dram tonight :D ;) Thank you for the information :)

Now that I have to watch my blood sugar I have slowed down on my Scotch consumption. When I do fix a wee dram now it just makes it taste that much better. :)

Same here, Les and Jack, just one or at most two drinks in an evening, maybe twice a week. A clear case of "less is more."

Very wise my friend, I find that with good whisky, you don't want a lot, you can just sit there and sniff it, slowly sip it, and appreciate it for the fine drink it is :)

I think it's the universe of English, trying to include all times and regions.

Fascinating! Thanks for sharing those pages.

Red chile enchiladas, New Mexican style. Just ordered another pound of crushed red chile to support small businesses—and have the best!
BCeLI8e.jpg

Yum! That looks so good! I ate dinner not long ago and now I'm hungry again just looking at those enchiladas.

We go through a lot of New Mexican Red Chile in my house, too. I'm planning to make pork and red chile posole this weekend.

BTW, I made chicken and green chile enchiladas last weekend using some Hatch chiles that I had in my freezer. My lambsfoot helped out by cutting open the vacuum sealed freezer bag. :)

No, the neighborhood just up from there. Funny! It’s changed a lot in the last 5 years. Went back for the first time since 2015 last year.
Ok, Wandering Way area? It has changed a lot since I got out of the Army in '94.
Good morning Guardians !

Nice photo, Dan. Looks like the ice is about gone?
I'm throwing my WCLF into my pocket right now!
Cool shot, John! Before I read the origins of the brand, I thought the Rocking E.T. was all you! :D:thumbsup:
I've lost just shy of 100-pounds since my journey started. I've gained about 2-pounds this last week but I need to put more weight on. To that end, I'm going to start drinking two beers a day.:D I think I'm going to start with a Dark Sierra Nevada Beer. Beer gut soon to follow.

Liquid bread! It will surely help you get back on your feet!:thumbsup: Great shot of your HHB, Ed!
Seems like a reasonable beginner project and I decided to pack light when fishing my local streams this year.
Perfect! I've really been jonesing for a fishing trip!:thumbsup:
Thanks GT, I've aged badly since then! :D

They put me on the cover of the Spearhead magazine once, but nothing that would be brag worthy! May need a rolaids after this.

Thanks for indulging me. :D
This slip seems to be made for the WCLF. ;)
If you could send that to me, I'll give 'er the old QC check for you! Shouldn't take more than a year or two!:D:thumbsup: Perfect match, John!
Working from home today, but made a brief foray to the store for necessities. Couldn't find any Starbucks coffee, though. Or toilet paper. But got bread, milk, eggs, wine, and a bunch of fruits and vegetables.

Stay safe, Guardians.

No coffee? Not cool, Vince! We bought 4 bags of the French Roast at Sam's before all this madness started.
Good looking shot of your Rosewood (?) though!
Hope you are doing well despite all the current challenges. Beautififul Horn hafted Lamb Foot , no matter the setting.
Thanks, Harvey, we're doing good here, hope you and yours are all well!
Thank you for the compliment on the Lambsfoot, mi hombre!

Fantastic photo, Gary! Timeless Lambsfoot!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
I just took delivery of a bottle of Lagavulin :) No pics, as it's still in quarantine, but it looks a lot like this, but hopefully with twice as much whisky in it ;) :D

Just been looking in my booze cupboard, and the even larger overspill booze cupboard, and I don't think I'm going to run out of whisky for a while! :)
I have yet to try Lagavulin, one day perhaps. At least you are stocked up on the essentials !:D:thumbsup:
Cool photo, Chuck! Perfect tools for the day@:thumbsup:
It's an uphill climb.
I recently looked up that song "about the swans, how they live in the park". Obviously very deep and heavy stuff. Turns out it's called Badge because Eric Clapton misread George Harrison's "bridge" on the MS. The lyrics are mysterious because they are rhyming fragments from George's drinking bouts with Ringo.
GZvZ8pV.jpg
I heard Eric Clapton tell that story once as well. Still, a great song!
Love the swan with the badge!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup: Nice inclusion of the Lambsfoots!

Great photo, Josh! I too thought that was a huge knife!:)
Good Morning Guardians
Ah, nice! Lovely photo, John!

Still one of my favorite albums, with Duane Allman and Eric trading licks, and Bobby Whitlock's backup vocals. But, yeah, probably not much of a brain trust considering their .... state?
My Lambsfoot of choice for today just happens to be clad in Ebony! ;) All you Guardians please stay safe out there! :)

Awsome foto, Ron!! Such great woody goodness!
I don't know if Buffalo Horn covered Lambfoot knives are popular in Hawaii but Spam sure is.

Good day, Guardians! Hope everyone is still staying safe in these strange days!

Jelly with some Ele's today

I bet the Ele's ate the peanutbutter! Nice shot !:thumbsup:

Once dried and seasoned I will attempt to fashion longbows from them. The first step in a long process!

Awsome stuff, Matt! Osage is some great wood! Great skillset you have, making bows out of raw materials!:thumbsup:

Growing up in SW New Mexico, a popular way to serve enchiladas, and the way my mom made them, was flat stacked in layers with a fried egg on top.:thumbsup: Still my favorite way to eat them, but I love them any way!:D

Well, here's to better times coming on the horizon!

Thanks, Dennis. We have some Starbucks, usually several bags. I scored a pound today at a Starbucks store (had to use the drive-thru). I mustn't run out of coffee!

They put me on the cover of the Spearhead magazine once, but nothing that would be brag worthy! May need a rolaids after this.

My ebony A. Wright helped me today (on wooden Wednesday) to split-up a small Osage log into bow staves. Once dried and seasoned I will attempt to fashion longbows from them. The first step in a long process!View attachment 1313778 View attachment 1313782 View attachment 1313786

That looks very tasty Dave, nice pic

Jack Black Jack Black - Thank you Jack. Reading some good science is preferable to the science fiction purveyed by some of the World leaders. Adding a glass of 16 year old Lagavulin to the mix can only help.Good for you. Cheers!

Good Evening Guardians.

You're definitely in for a treat :)

Still one of my favorite albums, with Duane Allman and Eric trading licks, and Bobby Whitlock's backup vocals. But, yeah, probably not much of a brain trust considering their .... state?

Definitely a classic buddy, I couldn't count the number of times I've listened to that album :) I love jazz, but most of the legends were junkies, and several of them were in and out of Camarrillo ! :(

Talking of Camarillo, I was never a Tony Christie fan, but he lived up the road from me in Sheffield

Well, here's to better times coming on the horizon!
