Nice! You crank those out pretty quick, John... I guess you have worked with leather in the past, huh? I bought a couple sheets of leather and some cord a few months ago, and my one attempt at making a slip so far was less than stellar... significantly less than stellar!
Good day, everyone! Stay safe out there.

Yes, I have extensive experience working with leather.Nice! You crank those out pretty quick, John... I guess you have worked with leather in the past, huh? I bought a couple sheets of leather and some cord a few months ago, and my one attempt at making a slip so far was less than stellar... significantly less than stellar!
The more I inspect it, I think it's just a slightly off pivot pin. I don't think it will do any harm to use it. I'm not going to worry about sending it out. You'll see more of it.Have you got any plans to fix your Ironwood Lambfoot JohnJohnDF ? It's too pretty
to keep in semi-storage instead of being able to use it at will. I'd like to see more of it in your posting.

Yup, no makers stamp on that one.Wow John!! That looks really nice. So much better without the stamp on that side. Great stitching job too. Aces!!
The stitched slips take about 20 minutes start to finish, and the laced one took me about 45 minutes.
Really nice lacing job.
I've never tried one of those.
Thank you, I think I'll do a Porch Edition and include it in my next GAW.Looks great!
Just about gone DennisNice photo, Dan. Looks like the ice is about gone?
I don't know, Jack... the fit seems a little off from what I can tell... probably should send me that AC before it falls out and gets damaged! Just lookin' out for ya!
Your ebony lamb is quite striking, Dan! I really enjoy the pics of your adventures.Just about gone DennisThese pics I took last week and there were still some portions of the this trail with some ice or snow left ( I absentmindedly walked into a patch of ice while talking to my wife and had another "great wipe out" experience lol
Now the ice is all gone on the trail but there are some small pockets remaining in some very calm portions of the river,.... we'll see, we are going for a walk in a few minutes and it may all be gone now
Good afternoon Guardians
