We have about three inches of snow on the grass and trees, but it should be too warm for accumulating on the streets. Maybe today is range day.

Or maybe I'll just take my walk and get something done in the house.

Obviously, if I do go deer-hunting this Fall, the weather will be warm and dry.

Aye all this lock down fiasco is a good reminder not to put off health related matters as anything could happen at anytime. I need a couple of dental fillings which got delayed (I had a bad cold) and then the amended appointment got cancelled cos of the lock down.
I know lots of people who are finding Google doesn't seem to know about lots of things anymore, or is just plain wrong. We've got so used to just 'googling' stuff we just accept the information as fact. Everything from recipes to traffic updates is wrong.
I hope you'll get to the range sometime. It's nice to see a rifle that would actually be legal to own in the UK.

It's been an extremely busy week so I've just barely been able to keep up in lurk-and-skim mode. Sounds like I'm not alone in that regard. It's lovely seeing the gardens starting to take shape.

Jack, sorry to hear about your back. I hope you're back to fine form quickly.

I snuck in some pre-dawn sourdough mixing this morning, let it rise and proof throughout the course of the day, and pulled the finished loaf out of the oven about an hour ago. Looking forward to cutting into it in an hour or so after it's cooled enough.

My 2019 Guardian has been working hard over the past few days, so it got an edge touch-up and some Renaissance Wax.

I've been carrying my Hartshead Barlow quite a bit since I got it.

The steel they used on it, while it isn't stainless, doesn't seem to patina up as quick as the GEC knives I am used to.
