edit: oops I did not include my lamb in the shot :(

Beautiful!

I'm sure you had a lambsfoot in your pocket when you were baking the bread and taking the picture, right? Just include two in the next photo. :D ;)

Crumb shot :)
I am not sure what I am aiming for but it tastes delicious

TWO LAMBS :)
How do you guys keep your family ( and yourself ) from NOT cutting up hot bread and start eating it right away ? :)

Excellent shot of your DamLamb Harvey, and that pic from the Daily Mail is hilarious! :D :)

Thanks, guys.
I may be partly to blame for the weather. I haven't quite put away all the Christmas decorations, so the local angels may be confused. Or impatient.

You're nearly as bad as me Jer! :D Made for a cool pic though

Just a quick stop in to post a pic.

I'llllll be baaack. :D

Good to see you Kevin, great pic

Happy Friday, All!

It's been an extremely busy week so I've just barely been able to keep up in lurk-and-skim mode. Sounds like I'm not alone in that regard. It's lovely seeing the gardens starting to take shape.

Jack, sorry to hear about your back. I hope you're back to fine form quickly.

I snuck in some pre-dawn sourdough mixing this morning, let it rise and proof throughout the course of the day, and pulled the finished loaf out of the oven about an hour ago. Looking forward to cutting into it in an hour or so after it's cooled enough.

Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Here ya go.

Thank you very much Greg, fantastic pics, your sourdough looks delicious :)

I've been carrying my Hartshead Barlow quite a bit since I got it.

The steel they used on it, while it isn't stainless, doesn't seem to patina up as quick as the GEC knives I am used to.

Nice photos :) The steel isn't a great deal different. I think you'll find it'll patina ok, as you can see from the many photos here

It certainly LOOKS delicious Dan, well done

Good morning Guardians, it genuinely came as a surprise when I realised it was Saturday! Guess it doesn't make a great deal of difference to many of us at the moment. Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm afraid I'm still struggling with my back. I was just thinking of @Ramrodmb, who hasn't been here much for a while. Hope you're doing ok Mark. Also Dennis @mitch4ging of course. Modoc ED Modoc ED , glad you're continuing to get better my friend. I don't know if anyone has anything exciting planned for the weekend, but either way, have a good one. Take care, and stay safe Guardians

I hope that you improve Jack. I'm hunkered down for the weekend and about the only outdoor activity planned is a little yard work. Here's a recycled photo of my HHB and an old wheel barrow made from Cypress wood that is the residence of a potted fern.

Thanks a lot Bill, I'm sure I'll be ok in a day or two :) Certainly not missing much, but I'm not looking forward to doing all the dishes after  That's a nice pic

Very nice example of Jack's Jack Black Jack Black SFO Hartshead.:) I believe the blade steel is C70. Jack can say for sure if he runs across this post.
