Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That's so cool. :cool::thumbsup:

WOW Dan that’s a gorgeous bowl, great save on that one. Love the live edge on that one.

And, wow, what a spectacular bowl! Kudos from recovering it from the mishap!

Superb work Dan, definitely nothing to be sour-faced about ;) Cool pic

Thank you for the kind words Guardians :)

Thanks Bill, here, during the two world wars, with the men away fighting, thousands of women went to work in the Sheffield steel works (including my grandmothers and great grandmothers of course)

Them's the girls Jack. My gran packed parachutes, my great-aunt put fuses in artillery shells.

Thanks for sharing about the incredible sacrifices of so many women during the wars.
It's good to pause, reflect and remember.

Before the outbreak started I went to the home of a WW2 vet to help him apply and process the paperwork to move into a nursing home. He is 95 yo. He showed me the telegram they had sent his mother when he got severely wounded, told me about his wounds, how they still affect him to this day. We talked for a couple hours. I felt so privileged to be able to shake his hand and thank him for his service.

Wow! Nice work Greg, fab pic too :)

Thank you, Jack. Slowly, but surely, I’m getting the hang of it. Still much learning ahead, but that’s what keeps it fun. Just like lambsfoots! :)

Good Morning Guardians
Going to take a trip today to deliver some food to friends
Ebony Lambsfoot in tow of course. :)

Good examples of the Standard Ebony are so stunning, and you’ve got yourself a great one! Congrats, and good on ED for such a generous gift! Ya’ll make us Guardians proud.

Yup. That’ll suffice.

(My entry for understatement of the year. :D)

Happy Saturday Guardians ! I've been carrying this one all week:)

Oh, wow! Love that bone and the blade stamp!

As much as I love my A. Wrights, I’m getting a thrill from the resurgence of vintage models surfacing lately! Such beauties!

I don’t think I have the patience to track one down for myself, but I am quite content to gander at all of y’all’s. Please keep ‘em coming, folks!

Good evening Guardians! This is one tired old man! We got a lot accomplished today, but it’s now time for the recliner and a nice Sambar Lambsfoot! :)

You’ve no doubt earned your spell in the easy chair, Ron. Enjoy it! Glad to see you’ve got good company while you put your feet up!

I hope my fellow Guardians have had a good day. Today was the first day that I’ve had in a while that felt truly rejuvenating. One of our favorite garden stores is open again, so we got there 10 minutes before opening and spent 30 minutes in line to pick up soil, compost, mulch, and a few plants to round out those that we’d already picked up at the farmers market and ordered online.

We put in most of our garden, including a dozen chili plants (2 each of 6 varieties) that I’m looking forward to enjoying come harvest and several other veggies. Here are nine of the chili plants with some green beans behind (and a lambsfoot if you look closely!):

Afterwards, having worked up an appetite, my lambsfoot and I made a snack to tide us over ‘til dinner:

I hope everyone else also finds some moments of satisfaction this weekend. Stay safe, Guardians!
