Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That's so cool. :cool::thumbsup:

WOW Dan that’s a gorgeous bowl, great save on that one. Love the live edge on that one.
This bowl almost became a "sour-bowl" lol
I got a nasty catch that send it flying off the lathe and broke the tenon used to hold it.
I am happy I was able to remount it and finish it.
( wait .... sour dough is a very good thing actually ... OK, forget about the sour-bowl metaphor :D )

Wow !!! Nice Greg  :) Round and tall !
Did you "cold proof" the dough overnight ?

Thank you! Rounder and taller, at least. Nope, this was a room temperature proof, but I realized that I'd likely been over proofing and cut the proofing time by quite a bit. Probably could have gone a bit shorter yet. Will probably try cold proof next time.

And, wow, what a spectacular bowl! Kudos from recovering it from the mishap!

Hopefully soon than later on the cantelope patinas!!!

Wonderful looking loaf as well!!!

Thank you! Looking forward to seeing those cantaloupes with any or all of your lambsfoot knives. :)

That's some fantastic character Kevin :)

Happy Friday!!! Cheers Guardians!

Best walk n talk of any I own. Pictured with some cantelope plants!

Such outstanding jigging :)

Jack, I like the "Women of Steel". Here, across the pond we had Rosie the riveter. Also, across the pond is my HHB...one of many I suspect.

Thanks Bill, here, during the two world wars, with the men away fighting, thousands of women went to work in the Sheffield steel works (including my grandmothers and great grandmothers of course). Many died, both in accidents and because of German bombing, and unfortunately it took a century before the statue was commissioned. It is always good to see Rosie, she's iconic, such a great image

Another marvellous pic Dwight, it sure is good having you back my friend :)

Thank you Jack, it’s coming along slow but I think it better than forcing a patina.

Definitely Chuck :)

Thank you Jack. Thoroughly enjoyed both the Horn assortment(Sigh), and all the “Women of Steel” images, celebrating VE Day.

JohnDF JohnDF - What a thoughtful and beautiful gift from Ed - Modoc ED Modoc ED . That black haft is a stunner.

Good Evening Guardians. Found the perfect cap.

Thank you Dwight, I think I may have a Women of Steel Lambsfoot photo somewhere, but I'm having difficulty finding it among my thousands of Lambsfoot pics :D That IS the perfect cap my friend! :D Wonderful photo of your AC :)

Thank you so much, fellas! I've enjoyed seeing everyone's knives today, all just fantastic!

Kept with the same blade today.

Looks like you had a great evening Dylan :) Marvellous image buddy :)

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone is doing well. I think those of you who are helping to keep the world going deserve to put your feet up! I'm still working, though not as much as usual, but I think the world could probably get by just fine without my efforts  Have a good one anyway folks. Summery weather here, and I'm planning to go for a walk, and do a bit of exploring, after I've had my morning coffee of course ;)

I've made lots of meat pies in the past, but I'm not sure I've ever made a pork pie.

That looks way above my skill level. :(

Above mine to chaps but I thought now would be as gooder time as any. :D

Only just, poor bloke, he was stabbed in the throat with a broken bottle by some junkie, robbed, and left for dead :eek Yep, that's Parson's Cross! Sometimes, I don't think much consideration gets given to these routes o_O

Crikey Jack not good. Given a couple of housing estates the TPT passes through in Liverpool I can only imagine the sorts of places it goes through in Doncaster and Hull.

Them's the girls Jack. My gran packed parachutes, my great-aunt put fuses in artillery shells.

Beautiful! :cool::thumbsup:

Good Morning Guardians
Going to take a trip today to deliver some food to friends
Ebony Lambsfoot in tow of course. :)

Thanks John :) That's kind of you, I'm sure your friends will be grateful. You've chosen a fine partner for the ride

What amazing women :) There's some great stories in the George Cunningham book I have for you, which I think will give you a laugh

I hope everyone's having a great Saturday.

Nice pic of your Hartshead Barlow David :)

Have I mentioned the joys of making your own sauerkraut?

Good for you Dave, cool pic :)

Another Saturday morning.:) Hope everyone has a good day. It's Stag for me today - Sambar Stag and Whitetail Deer Stag. They go together rather well I think.

8ZoYyGL.jpg

They go together well Ed :)

Hope everyone is doing OK. I've had a good day, walking further than I've walked in a while, and it's left me worn out! :D Think I'm going to have another beer or two in the garden, while it's still nice, and I suspect I'll be having an early night ;)
