Thanks for the compliment Gary! Lam Jack is still a great knife even with the small blemishes!Stellar stag, Ron!
Thanks, Ron & John & Harvey.
I once dropped Lam Jack onto a stone patio from a height of about 5', so the horn is no longer perfect:

I only posted the label here, because I new you would say something cogent. I have a bit of a sweet tooth, and thought this one would be interesting. Your Hartshead is sweet, too, Jack. Have some stress releasing fun this weekend.Thank you HarveyVery nice
By coincidence, I was just throwing out some cardboard boxes today, and noticed that some tasting notes had been included with my Sam Smith's mixed cases. I was interested to see that the fruit beers do not start off at Tadcaster, where all the other Sam Smith's beers are born. According to the notes, they are brewed, at the small All Saints Brewery in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Again according to the notes, after primary and secondary fermentation, the beer is then transported to the Sam Smith's Brewery in Tadcaster, where it is blended with organic fruit juices, and more beer. Other sources would suggest the beers are made in their entirety in Stamford. I haven't had the fruit beers yet, but noticed that, with my second case, one of their apricot beers was included, which I've not tried before. Enjoy your beer Harvey
I'm just having a cuppa, with Rich Tea biscuits selected withJohnDF in mind

Yes GT, I putted well and drove it well too.Stellar stag, Ron!
Thanks, Ron & John & Harvey.
Good deal on the insurance. My daughter is hoping to visit soon and "buy" my 2007 Ford Focus to drive back to Minneapolis with her. Quite a "jigsaw puzzle" trying to figure out how to get from MI title, registration, insurance, plates to MN versions (and drive back to MN while the transition is in progress).
It's the kind of edge to which I aspire!
Jack, thanks for the compliments about my horn Guardians lambsfoot.
Thanks also for the info about the birthday party and the apiary stones.
Hilarious video!
Congrats on the record harvest!I wonder if eggplant enhancement is a "comorbidity" of COVID-19?
We're fortunate to have lambsfoot models as pleasing as the rosewood HHBs!
Distinctive horn on that knife!
Heavenly horn quartet, Dylan!!
Sorry to hear about your long spell of less-than-ideal weather, Jack.
Didn't you actually have quite a pleasant spring?
Spring came late here, but LOTS of hot, dry weather over the past month, I think. The past 9 days have all had high temps of at least 90˚F, but will be cooler today.
Great photo of your stag HHB, Bill!
On the links, I hope you follow the old-fashioned advice: Drive for show, putt for dough!
Dapper dandy right there, John!
Thanks for your encouraging words, Jack.
Thanks, FBC.
Always cool to see your straight-grain ironwood with the "blip"!

DamLamb looks pretty enticing Jack. Thanks buddyI'd never even noticed the details about the Melbourn brewery on the label before Harvey, quite a coincidence that I found those tasting notes today
It has finally stopped raining this evening, after raining heavily since yesterday, so I'm hoping it'll be a bit drier tomorrow. I hope you have a great weekend yourself

You win John!I'd give a LOT of Rich Tea biscuits for a piece of that delicious-looking pie my friend

I barely slept last night, so I'm pretty tired, and will be hitting the hay in an hour or two. First, I'm going to make a sandwich for tomorrow, get my bag ready, and have a shave. I hope everyone is having a good Friday, and that Saturday is even better. I'll hope to catch up with you all tomorrow evening
Thinking about maybe carrying this DamLamb tomorrow, if I can get the Hartshead Barlow out of my pocket![]()
