Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jack Black Jack Black I know you do not watch much TV, but i thought of you last night, they have started replaying one of my old favorites again over here and it is on every Monday night. I reckon this is my forth or fifth watching of it and last night was the 3rd episode, Heartbeat, fantastic production from a great time when i was in my formative years. I love the old cars, my uncle would only have British cars and my sister had a cortina. Loved the leather seats, and wood grained dash with proper instruments. Question without notice for you. In the credits at the end of each episode it says Yorkshire television, was that a production branch of the BBC, or an entity in it's own right?

I saw yesterday that Chloe Mcardle broke the mens record for swimming the English Channel, she has now done the crossing 35 times, 4 in the last fortnight. I know Chloe, she would have to be one of the most determined and mentally strong people i have ever met, off topic i know. Told you all i was starting to lose it and ramble.o_O

Thought i'd better justify my place on the thread.
Will she be quarantined? :D:D:D

That’s a good rule of thumb Jack, to never eat anything but food! ;) I’m sure that Big Eb will become quite notorious here! Thank you for the kind words about my photos. They’re all taken with my iPhone 10. :)

LOL! :D I am always amazed at the stunning photos so many members take on their phones :)

Thanks for thinking of me mate :) Heartbeat was quite popular here I believe, but I have never seen it. I don't know if you ever take a particular dislike to an actor, but I took a dislike to the main actor, (formerly in a soap opera and a would-be pop star), from the first moment I saw his squidgy face! :D Quite irrational of course, and I don't think I would have seen the programme anyway ;) I'm glad you're enjoying it though :) When I was a kid, there were only two TV channels here, the BBC (no commercials, funded by a compulsory license fee), and ITV (commercials, free to watch, but if you own a TV, you're forced to pay the BBC's license fee, even if you don't watch it) or Independent Television, which was made up of numerous smaller regional companies, one of which was Yorkshire Television  I hope I've got that right! :D

Apparently it was it a concern!

Good Morning Guardians, hope everyone has a good day

Sounds logical to me. And as far as taking a dislike to an actor, there are people that as soon as i see them,i just switch off. And i think it's getting worse the older i get.

It's probably getting worse as I get older too mate! :D I do enjoy watching films, and Australia has produced so many wonderful actors over the years. Most go to Hollywood of course, but I have always enjoyed Australian films too, and particularly like Bryan Brown, who I've been watching since I was a kid, and he's probably been in half the Australian films I've seen! :D I was going to post a clip from Two Hands, but some of the language is a bit colourful  ;)

" Great Movie ".

Let's see, you don't like Oliver Reed, Stephen Frye, Tom Robinson...
This is the only actor whose picture I have:

She slays me and my lambsfoots too.

Did I say I didn't like Tom Robinson? :D There aren't many actors I dislike, they're mainly TV actors, so I only rarely see them! :D I don't like Craig Charles from Red Dwarf, which I've never watched, in part because he is in it! :D Nor Steven Berkoff, in part, that's due to the fact he was once very rude to a friend of mine o_O I'm not a big Tom Cruise fan, but I've seen a couple of decent films he's been in  Now Diana Rigg, I most certainly DO like :)

Thanks Jack! I can see some apple patina in the near future! :)

Good stuff Ron, I've just finished a Gala myself :)

I hear Tom Cruise and I think Rebecca DeMornay, so he's all right. When DiCaprio started, I wondered why they didn't just buy a wax dummy, but he's turned into quite the Meryl Streep (in a good way).
I got this photo at the same shop as Mrs. Peel.
I've probably mentioned that Kate Bush gave me my second mid-life crisis.

Really? :D I never minded DiCaprio, probably because I didn't see Titanic, I think the first film I saw him in was The Quick & The Dead with Sharon Stone, he looks about 12! :D Yep, turned out to be a pretty decent actor  That's funny about Kate Bush :D

Another pic from my weekend hike
