A strange experience going to town. When I set off, there was no traffic on the roads, and when I got into the city centre, everywhere was closed, and there was barely anyone about. There were about a dozen or so folks working at the vaccination centre, but in the 30 minutes I was there, nobody else came in to get a shot. On the way back home, I managed to find a cafe open, so I got a fried breakfast and coffee. Wasn't great, but it made a change ;) Feeling OK with my shot so far :thumbsup:

I checked Dave's profile (not for the first time): He last posted in this thread in October 2019, and after that, has one other post, selling a knife on the exchange, in February 2020 :( :thumbsup:

It was a good thing I had an Ubuntu start-up disc when Windows told me there was a problem with my device, that they would fix the problem with my device by reinstalling Windows, and that they couldn't reinstall Windows.
Sometimes I think people with no computer are crazy, sometimes I don't.

Blimey Jer! :eek: I sure know what you mean, we are so reliant on them. When I first started writing professionally, I still started work with a pen and paper! :D I used to send typed magazine articles through the mail, and in the case of the national newspapers, call them in! :D I could work whenever I wanted to though :rolleyes: I usually start my work early, but was locked out of my computer for 3 hours today, as well as some time last night, and no doubt there'll be some glitches to the update, settings changed, etc. I don't even want the darn updates, but there's no choice of course. I don't know how Windows have escaped legal action :mad:

Nothing wrong with this post Jack, the HHB is looking fine! 😎👍 I’ve only used my phone to post in the forum. My biggest issue is with my fat fingers hitting the wrong keys and having to go back and edit my post, and I still don’t catch all the errors!😂

Thanks pal :) I'm getting better with the phone, but I have big hands too, and all my photos are stored (backed-up) on my PC - as well as the work I'm doing, which I'd really find hard to do on my phone. A few years ago, I posted on an IPad Mini for a while, and I did get used to it. I prefer a mouse and keyboard though. I only really use my Laptop to watch movies :rolleyes: The worse thing for me, when posting from my phone, is the darn spell-check! :D :thumbsup:

I know what you mean, my son does his school work on his phone, even writes his papers with his phone. 😳 That would do me in I’m afraid! 🤪
