Wow, look at that cover! Beaut! Those Sheldon knives were sold on both sides of The Pond, with various names, and with a number of manufacturers stamps, and yet have slipped into obscurity, so it's always nice to see one. I had intended to do an SFO of the pattern. I hope you find the other thread interesting, for me, when Mr Sheldon's grandson contributes, it is one of those magic BF moments![]()
LOL Thanks pal!![]()
That looks like a lovely spot my friend, very atmospheric picsI hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation, and the rest of that bottle

Thanks JJ, the market isn't what it used to be I'm afraid, the city council have been trying to gentrify it for years, and high rents have led to fewer traders. I'll keep supporting it while it's there though![]()
Thanks for your kind words Leon, and for treading carefullyIt has certainly been fascinating to watch the inexorable rise of the Lambsfoot
It's such a great pattern and blade shape though
Edit - I spend a lot of time lamenting the fact that quality Lambsfoot knives aren't more readily available to posters here, but looking at that thread, I sure wouldn't want to have to deal with that lolly scramble! Not a Lambsfoot, but it's an elegant blade, and I think you make a valid and interesting point mate
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week. I went down the road to see a pal of mine, and his missus, and we sat outside drinking beer and rum, before I walked back home. There were lots of friendly people sitting out in the streets of my neighbourhood, and a very nice atmosphere. I doubt many folks won't be grateful for the slightly cooler weather today though. I decided to carry an Old Friend todayHave a good Friday Guardians, the weekend is almost here

Congratulations ToddThis arrived in yesterday’s mail, my new stag Big’un and I’m very happy with it. The stag is exactly what I expected, I like how it feels and I really like the polished bit near the bolster.

It's been a little cooler here today, but a nice day nonethelessI walked into town, and had a Thai lunch, which was delicious. After doing some shopping, I made yet another visit to the opticians. Hopefully, I'll be getting a new pair of glasses in about 10 days. I think I'm just going to have a quiet one tonight, but heading out for a hike tomorrow

Butterscotch? Caramel? Pralines ‘n Cream? This may be the BEST handle I’ve seen in a very long time! It could bring sunshine to a very dreary day.

Great way to start the weekend BillWonderful morning here in coastal southern NC. Going outdoors for a stroll before it gets too hot. Going to have my HHB with me. But before I do much of anything I'm having my hot tea and bagel.
